Thomas E. Dewey was an American politician, prosecutor, and lawyer. A member of the Republican Party, Dewey held the office of the governor of New York between 1943 and 1954. In 1952, Dewey played a major role in helping Dwight D. Eisenhower win the presidential election. After retiring from politics, Dewey served as a corporate lawyer from 1955 to 1971.
Political staffer, Huma Abedin, is known for being one of Hillary Clinton’s closest aides. She was the vice-chair of Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign for president of the United States. An alumnus of the George Washington University, she first started working with Clinton in 1996 and has since been a trusted advisor to her. She considers Clinton her mentor.






Betsy DeVos, the current United States Secretary of Education, is famous for her support for school voucher programs, school choice, and charter schools. Also known for her philanthropy and activism, Betsy DeVos launched the Dick & Betsy DeVos Family Foundation in 1989. The foundation donates to hospitals, arts organizations, health research, Christian schools, etc.
Former politician, Kwame Kilpatrick, served as the mayor of Detroit from 2002 to 2008. Previously, he had been a Democratic Michigan state representative. A controversial person, he was convicted of perjury and obstruction of justice in 2008 and had to step down as mayor. In 2013, he was again convicted of many federal felony counts.




Mitt Romney is currently the United States senator from Utah. He was the Massachusetts Governor from 2003-2007 and was also the Republican Party's candidate for the 2012 Presidential elections, but eventually lost to Barack Obama. He created history when he voted to convict US President Donald Trump—from his own party—for abuse of power in the January 2020 impeachment trial.
