Steve Scalise is the current U.S. House of Representatives minority whip and represents Louisiana's 1st district. Scalise made headlines when, in 2017, he and three others were injured after a left-wing extremist shot them with a rifle at a Congressional baseball practice. Strangely, he still remains a gun rights supporter.
Huey P. Newton was an African-American civil and political rights activist. He is credited with co-founding The Black Panther Party (BPP), which went on to become one of black movement's most influential organizations of the late-1960s. The party, under Newton's leadership, founded more than 60 community support programs, including Free Breakfast for Children, which provided food to thousands of children.
Politician and attorney John Bel Edwards is currently serving as the 56th governor of Louisiana. He is a member of the Democratic Party and has previously served as the Democratic leader of the Louisiana House of Representatives. A United States Army veteran, he once served with the 82nd Airborne Division. He is married and has two daughters.

Andrew Young Jr. is an American activist, politician, and diplomat. Young is best known for his role in the civil rights movement; a close associate of Martin Luther King Jr., Andrew Young served as the executive director of a civil rights organization called Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC). Andrew Young is a recipient of the prestigious Presidential Medal of Freedom.








Omar Suleiman once led the Egyptian General Intelligence Service as its director. He had also briefly been the vice president of Egypt under president Hosni Mubarak, becoming the first to have held the post under Mubarak. In his early days, he had also been part of the Six-Day and October wars.
