Ben Johnson is a Canadian retired sprinter who was adjudged the world's fastest man during the 1987–88 season after he broke the 60m and 100m indoor world records. He is best known for his performance in the 1984 Olympic Games, where he won two bronze medals. Ben Johnson also won a gold medal at the 1985 World Indoor Championships.

Laurie Holden is an American-Canadian model, actress, and producer. She is best known for her portrayal of Andrea in the popular horror television series The Walking Dead, for which she received the 2012 Satellite Award and 2013 Saturn Award. Also known for her human rights activism and charity work, Laurie Holden works closely with organizations that campaign against human trafficking.

Albert Bandura is a Canadian-American psychologist who has made significant contributions to several fields of psychology, such as personality psychology, therapy, and social cognitive theory. Regarded as the greatest living psychologist, Bandura is also counted among the most influential psychologists ever. He has been honored with over 16 honorary degrees. In 2016, Albert Bandura received the National Medal of Science.

Donovan Bailey is a retired Jamaican-Canadian sprinter. He once held the world record for the 100 meters and is considered the greatest Canadian sprinter of all time. Noted for his top speed, he became the first Canadian to legally break the 10-second barrier in the 100 meters. In 2004,  he was inducted into Canada's Sports Hall of Fame.

Best known for her Grammy-winning and Billboard-charting single Black Velvet, written in memory of Elvis Presley, Alannah Myles is the daughter of legendary Canadian broadcaster William Douglas Byles. Best known as Reuben Kincaid from the musical sitcom The Partridge Family, Canadian-born American actor Dave Madden later also gained fame as Earl Hicks in Alice. Once part of the US Air Force, he had also served in Libya, where he once performed a magic show for Idris, the Libyan ruler.

Burton Cummings is a Canadian musician and singer-songwriter. He was the frontman of the rock band The Guess Who from 1966 to 1975. He also enjoyed a highly successful solo career and has been cited as one of the most influential performers in Canadian rock music. He was named an officer of the Order of Canada, in 2009.

Canadian neurologist, educator, scientist, astronaut and photographer Roberta Bondar CC OOnt FRCPC FRSC is noted as the first female astronaut and the first neurologist of Canada to travel into space. She flew as part of the Space Shuttle Discovery mission STS-42 and performed over forty experiments in Spacelab. She later served as head of an international team of researchers at NASA.

Brooke Nevin is a Canadian actress known for her portrayal of Rachel in the Canadian-American TV series, Animorphs. She is also known for playing Sonja Lester in Call Me Fitz, for which she received a couple of Gemini Award nominations. Nevin also has a Daytime Emmy Award nomination and a Young Artist Award nomination under her belt.

Canadian baseball player and coach Ferguson Jenkins has played for MLB teams such as the Philadelphia Phillies and Boston Red Sox. He also excelled in basketball and hockey and was part of the Canadian amateur hockey league. He also became the first Canadian to be name to the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Former baseball player Larry Walker had a 17-year stint with the MLB, playing for teams such as the Montreal Expos and the St. Louis Cardinals. The Baseball Hall of Fame inductee wanted to pursue hockey initially but chose baseball instead after failing to make it to a top hockey team.
