Gregg Rolie is a singer and keyboardist. He gained international popularity as the frontman of the bands Santana and Journey. He was a co-founder of both as well. He currently performs with his Gregg Rolie Band and also collaborates with Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band. Rolie has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice.

Brent Smith is a singer best known as the founder and frontman of the rock band Shinedown. He was just a small child when he started showing a keen interest in music. As a teenager, he launched his own band and enjoyed moderate success. He later founded Shinedown. The band has sold more than 10 million records.

Erik Gronwall is the current lead vocalist of the American rock band Skid Row.

Norwegian singer Per Fredrik Åsly, better known by his stage name, PelleK, has been associated with groups such as Damnation Angels and Qantice. He also has his own band, PelleK. He is extremely popular on YouTube, too, and has appeared in the film Creators: The Past and the popular series Vikings.

While he initially studied law, Swiss singer Thomas Winkler later found his calling in heavy metal and gained fame as part of the British power metal band Gloryhammer. In late 2021, a Facebook post on the band’s page announced that Winkler had left the band.



Best known as part of the Swiss rock band Gotthard, Steve Lee was mostly a vocalist but was also skilled in the drums and the harmonica. He co-founded the band Krak, which eventually became Gotthard. He was killed in a freak motorcycle accident while on a biking trip in Nevada with his friends.
