David Glen Eisley is an American actor, singer, and songwriter. He is well-recognized for serving as the lead singer of the bands Sorcery, Giuffria, Dirty White Boy and Stream. His song “Call to the Heart” peaked at #15 on the Billboard Hot 100 list. The son of actor Anthony Eisley, David Glen Eisley started playing the drums while in high school. Before settling into music, he spent much of his time playing baseball and commuting back and forth between club gigs and games. As an actor, Eisley has appeared in a number of television shows including ‘90210,’ ‘Beverly Hills,’ and ‘7th Heaven,’ and has also acted in various commercials. The multitalented artiste continues to act and sing even today, in his sixties, entertaining his audiences with his delightful performances. Since 1991, he has been married to popular actress Olivia Hussey. The couple has a daughter named India Eisley who also works as an actress.

Career
  • From 1980 to 1983, David Glen Eisley served as the lead singer for the rock band Sorcery. During this time, he and his band mates released their studio album ‘Sorcery2’ and appeared in a TV special titled ‘A Rocking Halloween’. After leaving the band, he joined the band Giuffria alongside Alan Krigger and Craig Goldy. They released their self-titled album ‘Giuffria’ featuring the songs "Lonely in Love" and "Call to the Heart", the latter of which charted at #15 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This was followed by another album entitled “Silk + Steel”.
  • From 1988 to 1991, Eisley was part of the short-lived, glam metal band named Dirty White Boy. The band released their only album ‘Bad Reputation’ in 1990. They toured across Europe and U.S. to promote it before disbanding. In the ensuing years, the artiste came up with his solo albums namely ‘War Dogs’, ‘Stranger from the Past’ and ‘The Lost Tapes’, the last of which was a compilation of his unreleased songs.
  • In 2017, he was featured as the lead singer on three tracks on Bob Kulick's compilation album, ‘Skeletons in the Closet.’ In December that year, Eisley collaborated with Craig Goldy and released the album ‘Blood, Guts and Games’.
  • As an actor, he has featured in various TV shows, such as ‘Beverly Hills,’ ‘7th Heaven’ and ‘90210.’ He also had a role in the 1988 action film ‘Action Jackson’. His rock ballad "Sweet Victory” was featured in an episode of ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’ and reached # 23 on the Hot Rock Songs chart in early 2019.
