Ron Paul is a physician, author, and retired politician who has played an important role in promoting libertarian vision by delivering speeches on American college campuses. A doctor by profession, Ron Paul served in the U.S. Air Force as a flight surgeon from 1963 to 1968. His life and career inspired the 2012 film Ron Paul Uprising.

Johnny Mathis is an American singer and songwriter. Best known for his contribution to popular music, Mathis has been honored with many awards including the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and the Society of Singers Lifetime Achievement Award. Johnny Mathis is also renowned for his philanthropic efforts; he has supported such organizations as the American Cancer Society and Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Judd Hirsch is best known for his Emmy-winning role of Alex Rieger in Taxi. Fans also loved him as John Lacey in Dear John and Alan Eppes in Numb3rs. He received an Academy Award nomination for Ordinary People and has also been seen in films such as Independence Day.

Russ Tamblyn is an American actor and dancer who received an Academy Award nomination for his work in the 1957 drama film, Peyton Place. Trained as a gymnast, Tamblyn's acrobatic skills were put to use in films, such as West Side Story. Apart from acting in films and TV series, Russ Tamblyn also worked as a choreographer during the 1980s.

The first racing driver to win the Indianapolis 500 four times, A.J Foytm appeared in the event for 35 consecutive years, winning the race in 1961, 1964, 1967 and 1977. Inheriting his love for racing from his auto mechanic father, he dropped out of  school to become professional racing driver, eventually founding a successful racing team, A. J. Foyt Enterprises.

Norman Foster is an English designer and architect best known for his association with the progression of high-tech architecture. Regarded as an important personality in British modernist architecture, Foster has been granted several prestigious honors like The Lynn S. Beedle Lifetime Achievement Award. He also serves as the president of the Norman Foster Foundation which aims at helping young architects.

Harrison Schmitt is an American geologist, university professor, and former NASA astronaut. He also served as the US Senator from New Mexico from 1977 to 1983. In 1972, Schmitt became a crew member of Apollo 17 and subsequenly the second-youngest person to walk on the Moon. In 1973, Harrison Schmitt was honored with the NASA Distinguished Service Medal.

Initially a hotel operator, Erich von Däniken is now known for his bestselling books such as Chariots of the Gods? and Twilight of the Gods. He has also co-founded AAS RA, a research organization, and has appeared on shows such as Ancient Aliens, propagating the Ancient Astronaut theory.

David Harvey is a  Marxist economic geographer, podcaster, and a fellow of the British Academy. He is currently a distinguished professor of anthropology and geography at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York (CUNY). He has authored many books and essays and is one of the most cited authors of books in the humanities and social sciences.   

Former NASA astronaut Charles Duke has also been a USAF officer and test pilot. At 36, he became the youngest astronaut to walk on the surface of the Moon. Throughout his illustrious career, he went on 5 Apollo missions. He is also an international public speaker.

Chi-Chi Rodríguez is a Puerto Rican golfer best known for winning eight PGA Tour titles between 1963 and 1979. In 1989, he won two prestigious awards, namely the Old Tom Morris Award and the Bob Jones Award. In 1992, Chi-Chi Rodríguez became the first Puerto Rican to be made an inductee of the World Golf Hall of Fame.

South African business tycoon Sol Kerzner established two of his country’s top hotel groups, Southern Sun Hotels and Sun International. His portfolio included lavish resorts in the Bahamas and Dubai. Born to vegetable sellers, he had initially wished to be a mechanic. He was also an avid boxer, with a volatile temper.

US physician and astronaut Story Musgrave initially worked for the US Marine Corps. Before joining NASA, he gained a host of degrees, in subjects such as literature, math, and chemistry, and an MD from Columbia University. He became the 2nd astronaut to make 6 space flights and later worked for Imagineering and Applied Minds.

John Brodie, a longtime quarterback for the NLF's San Francisco 49ers, was equally proficient in golf. Choosing football over golf, he chalked out a brilliant career for himself, at retirement ranking third in the career passing yards. Thereafter, he began competing as a professional golfer on the Senior PGA Tour, concurrently serving as football and golf analyst for NBC Sports.

Initially a Catholic deacon, Thomas Keneally quit the Church later and stepped into writing. Best known for his historical novels such as The Chant of Jimmie Blacksmith and Gossip from the Forest, he also won a Booker Prize for Schindler's Ark, which was inspired by the Holocaust.

Kreskin became mentalist inspired by comic-strip Mandrake the Magician. He gained attention with television series The Amazing World of Kreskin and has appeared on shows like The Tonight Show and Late Night with David Letterman. An active performer till-present, Kreskin prefers to present himself as an entertainer instead of a psychic and never claims of having paranormal or clairvoyant powers.

Egyptian Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi ruled Egypt as its de facto head of state after the fall of former president Hosni Mubarak. He was also a military attaché in Pakistan and led Egypt in the Gulf War as part of the US-led coalition. He earned an Order of the Nile, too.

Kenzaburō Ōe is a Japanese writer whose essays, short stories, and novels deal with social, philosophical, and political issues such as nuclear power, nuclear weapons, existentialism, and social non-conformism. An influential personality in contemporary Japanese literature, Kenzaburō Ōe was honored with the prestigious Nobel Prize in Literature in 1994 for his works.

Known for his extensive research, Pulitzer Prize winner Robert Caro began his career as journalist. Fascinated by the vast power enjoyed by Robert Moses, he published a biography on him, concurrently dealing in prevalent political practices. Taking up Lyndon B. Johnson as his next subject, he has already published four volumes on him and is currently working on the fifth.   

Don McCullin is an English photojournalist best known for his work as a war photographer. He achieved national recognition when he exhibited his hard-hitting photos of the Northern Ireland conflict and the Vietnam War. His photographs have also showcased the downtrodden, impoverished, and unemployed. McCullin's career has inspired a couple of documentary films, namely Just One More War and McCullin.   

NASA astronaut and USAF fighter pilot Rusty Schweickart served as the Lunar Module Pilot for the Apollo 9 mission in 1969 and became the first astronaut to perform an EVA, to test the life support system. He later co-founded the Association of Space Explorers and the B612 Foundation.
