Bob Barker is a retired TV game show host. Barker is credited with making CBS's The Price Is Right the longest-running daytime game show in the history of North American television, hosting the show from 1972 to 2007. Also an animal rights activist, Barker has supported groups like the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and the United Activists for Animal Rights.

Rudolph A. Marcus redefined science with his Marcus theory, which explained electron transfer reactions and thus threw light on reactions such as photosynthesis. The Canadian-American chemist won a Nobel Prize for his work and also contributed to the transition-state theory. He now teaches at Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University.

Roger Guillemin is a French-American neuroscientist. He is best known for his work on neurohormones, which earned him the prestigious Nobel Prize for Medicine in 1977. Guillemin is also the recipient of other prominent awards such as the National Medal of Science, Albert Lasker Award for Basic Medical Research, and Passano Award in Medical Sciences.

Ashi Tashi Dorji is a Bhutanese political figure. A much-loved woman in Bhutan, Tashi is best known as the grand-aunt of the current King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and as the sister of Queen Grandmother Ashi Kesang Choden. Over the years, Ashi Tashi Dorji has played an important role in the cultural life and international relations of Bhutan.

Part of the Generation of ’45, Uruguayan poet Ida Vitale was the fifth woman to receive the prestigious Miguel de Cervantes Prize, one of the greatest awards in Spanish literature. She was named to BBC’s list of the 100 most influential women of 2019 and has also been a translator, critic, and lecturer.

Juan Ponce Enrile is a Filipino lawyer and politician. He is best known for his service as a Senator of the Philippines on three occasions between 1987 and 2016. He also served as the President of the Senate from 2008 to 2013. Enrile was also the Minister of National Defense from 1970 to 1971 and again from 1972 to 1986.

Lucine Amara is an American soprano best known for her association with the Metropolitan Opera, where she performed from 1950 to 1991, making 882 appearances. Apart from the United States, Amara also performed in South America, Asia, and Europe. In 1989, Lucine Amara was made an inductee of the Academy of Vocal Arts Hall of Fame.
