YNW Melly is an American rapper whose song Murder on My Mind became a huge hit, especially after Melly was charged with double-murder. In 2019, he pleaded not guilty and is currently awaiting trial. If proven guilty, he could face life imprisonment or even capital punishment. Apart from the double-murder charges, he is a suspect in the 2017 murder of a sheriff's deputy.

Buckminster Fuller was an American systems theorist, architect, designer, inventor, author, and futurist. He is credited with popularizing the geodesic dome, which resembles carbon molecules known as fullerenes. Fullerenes were named after Fuller for their resemblance to geodesic spheres. Fuller's work has influenced several personalities from different walks of life. His work has also inspired a couple of documentary films.

In 2015, Espinoza became the first Hispanic and oldest jockey to achieve the Triple Crown; he achieved the feat on a famous horse named American Pharoah. A three-time Kentucky Derby winner, Victor Espinoza has also won the Preakness Stakes on three occasions.

Ricardo López was both a world mini flyweight and junior flyweight title holder. Known to fans as El Finito, or The Refined, he remains to be one of just 15 world boxing title holders to have remained undefeated till retirement. He is the father of another undefeated Mexican boxer, Alonso López.

Tony Lopez, also known as The Tiger, has been a World Boxing Champion thrice. The former Mexican-American boxer is perhaps best known for his 1988 bout against Rocky Lockridge, which he won. He now owns a Sacramento-based bail bond agency, known as Tony "The Tiger" Bail Bonds, Inc.

Tsegaye Kebede is an Ethiopian athlete who specializes in long-distance running. He is best known for winning the bronze medal in the men's marathon event at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China. The following year, Tsegaye Kebede also won a bronze medal at the World Championships in Athletics in Berlin, Germany.

Juan Antonio Bayona is a Spanish film director. He is known for directing films across genres, including horror, drama, science fiction, and fantasy. He studied at the Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya (ESCAC) before beginning his career. He won the Goya Best Director Award for the disaster film The Impossible.  

Retired Filipino boxer Rustico Torrecampo soared to fame after he became the first man to beat legendary Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao, or PacMan. A wrist fracture later ended his career, after which he became a street-food vendor. He was once wanted in a case involving the murder of a truck driver.
