Louis Armstrong was an American trumpeter and singer who played an important role in the development of jazz. Thanks to his playing, trumpet became known as a solo instrument and jazz, which was previously known as a collectively improvised folk music, became a soloist's art form. Not surprisingly, Louis Armstrong is widely accepted as the embodiment of jazz. 

Normani Hamilton is an American dancer and singer. Hamilton, who was part of the popular girl group Fifth Harmony, has won several awards, such as BMI Awards and iHeartRadio Music Awards. Also a philanthropist, Hamilton has been involved with charities like the Ryan Seacrest Foundation. Since 2017, she has been serving as a global ambassador for the American Cancer Society.

Simon Nkabinde, better known as Mahlathini, a nickname that referred to his bushy hair, couldn’t afford education and thus grew up working odd jobs. Introduced to music by his elder brother, he later came to be known as the Lion of Soweto for popularizing his groaning style of mbaqanga music.

Justin Hinds was a Jamaican ska vocalist best remembered for his work with Treasure Isle Records. Between 1963 and 1966, Justin Hinds recorded more than 70 singles for the record label, including his hit song Carry Go Bring Come.
