Jilly Anais is an upcoming American actress, singer and model. She took to onstage acting, singing, and dancing when she was just two years old. Jilly as a toddler started practicing as a ballerina, performing in numerous events for three years. She also developed a passion for the performing arts quite early on, registering as a member of the Ensemble Theater and performing as a lead artiste in numerous plays till the age of thirteen. She attended the Premier High School in North Houston where she continued to perform onstage as a member of the school’s drama club. While still in high school, she demonstrated a flair for ‘Competitive Dance’ and ‘Competitive Cheerleading’ that enabled her to grab the highly sought-after solo spots. Jilly was a talented sportsperson, actively participating in the sporting disciplines of volleyball, basketball, and soccer and was also good at martial arts. She was only thirteen when she signed up with ‘Page Parkes Modeling & Acting Agency’ and appeared in multiple commercials and advertisements. She took part in a beauty contest for the first time when she was fourteen and won the Miss Teen Houston crown. It was only after Anais shifted to Los Angeles that her professional career received a shot in the arm.

Early Career
  • Jilly Anais, right from her childhood, began grooming herself for an exciting professional career in the show biz. She was born in Houston, Texas and spent her early years in the city. She hails from a family with a stable economic background that allowed her to channelize her innate and acquired skills optimally, thus enabling her to commence her professional career early on.
  • She started honing her creative skills right from the age of two. She began taking ballet dancing lessons and exhibited her skills as a ballerina for the next three years.
  • When Jilly Anais was five, she enrolled at the Ensemble Theater where she performed in near countless productions, and oftentimes as the lead for eight consecutive years. As a student of Premier High School in North Houston, she was part of the main cast for several plays.
  • While attending college, she participated in ‘competitive dance’ as well as ‘competitive cheerleading’. Her exceptional boogieing and ballet skills that she had nurtured as a child helped her to bag the highly prized solo spots. She served as a varsity cheerleader and competitive cheerleader for four and five years respectively.
  • Jilly was a vivacious and energetic girl, taking part in the sporting disciplines of soccer, basketball, and volleyball during her school and college years. She captained starting lineups on several occasions, earning kudos from team members as well as coaches for her sporting skills.
  • In 2009 when Jilly was all of 13 years old, she signed a contract with Page Parkes Modeling & Acting Agency. She was featured in commercials for ‘Dance Spirits and Dance Academy’, ‘Sakowitz Furs’, ‘Sports Authority’, and ‘Academy’. In the following year, she focused on preparing herself to participate in beauty pageants.
  • She was declared the winner of ‘Miss Teen Houston 2010-11’ in her debut attempt to vie for the top spot in the beauty contest. As Miss Teen Houston, she was completely immersed in community service, addressing youngsters at schools about the significance of cherishing ambitions and earnestly endeavoring to achieve them.
  • It was in 2014 that she took the momentous decision of relocating to Los Angeles from her hometown to boost up her career and the move proved to be a turning point in her life. She took acting lessons in multiple finishing schools to sharpen her rendition skills.
  • Her debut single, ‘The Juice’ that she co-composed with ‘The Invaders’ was commercially released in February 2015 to promote her first EP with the same title that was launched shortly after. The EP contained tracks such as ‘9 Lives’, ‘Lucky Girl’, ‘Danza’, and ‘Tough Love.’
  • In 2015, Jilly Anais also collaborated with Troi Irons, a Los Angeles-based songstress for scripting the single, “Afterparty”. She has also done covers of many popular original songs which she has archived on her YouTube profile. She has performed in a string of music videos of well-known singers and musicians.
