Dacre Montgomery is an Australian actor best known for his starring roles in the film ‘Power Rangers’ and the ‘Netflix’ series ‘Stranger Things.’ Born and raised in Perth, Australia, Dacre started performing on stage and screen at the tender age of 9. He grew up being fascinated with the film industry. In 2011, his school’s yearbook showed him being hailed by his classmates as someone who was “Most Likely to be a Hollywood Star.” He officially started his career in 2010 with the short film ‘Bertrand the Terrible.’ Soon, he starred in the TV pilot of ‘Family Tree’ and appeared in a few music videos too. In 2016, he bagged the starring role of ‘Billy Hargrove’ in the hit ‘Netflix’ series ‘Stranger Things.’ The next year, he appeared as ‘Jason, the Red Ranger’ in the reboot of the famous American kids’ show ‘Power Rangers.’ In late 2017, he was confirmed as a cast member of the upcoming film ‘The True History of the Kelly Gang,’ which featured Russell Crowe.
