Her work was not much known until the late 1970s, when it was rediscovered by art historians and political activists. By early 1990s, she became a recognized figure in art history.

Mexican filmmaker, Alejandro Gonzalez Inãrittu, is known internationally for his films about the human condition. Beginning his entertainment career as a radio host, he started composing music and producing films as the years went by. The recipient of many prestigious awards, he is the first Mexican filmmaker to win an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay.

Lupita Nyong'o is one of the most popular black actresses of all time. The first Kenyan-Mexican actress to receive the prestigious Academy Award, Lupita Nyong'o has often been named in lists, such as the world's most beautiful woman. In 2020, she was named by Forbes magazine as one of Africa's 50 Most Powerful Women.

Counted among the greatest boxers of all time, Márquez was renowned for his toughness, speed, and technical skills. Molina was a Mexican chemist who played a key role in understanding and explaining the threat from chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) gases to the Earth's ozone layer, which earned him the prestigious Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1995. Molina was the third Mexican-born Nobel laureate and the first Mexican-born person to win a Nobel Prize in Chemistry.

Karla Souza is a Mexican-American actress best known for her portrayal of Laurel Castillo in the popular legal thriller television series, How to Get Away with Murder. An acclaimed and prominent actress in the Mexican film industry, Karla Souza is the recipient of the Premios Luminus, ACE Award, and Pantalla de Cristal Film Festival Award.

Boneta then furthered his acting career featuring in several films and television series, particularly playing the titular character in the Spanish-language American biographical television series Luis Miguel: The Series. Boneta has also released the studio albums Diego and Indigo.
