Model, actress, and author, Paulina Porizkova, became the first woman from Central Europe to be featured on the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue in 1984. She began modeling as a teenager and became a top model in Paris during the early 1980s. She eventually began acting as well. Also a writer, she has written a few books.

With a career-high singles ranking of 28, Czech tennis player Petra Kvitová is quite a sensation. She also won a bronze at the 2016 Rio Olympics. She was the first player born in the 1990s to score a Grand Slam tournament win. In 2015, she was named the sixth-highest-paid female athlete by Forbes.

Karolína Kurková is a Czech-American actress and model best known for being a former Victoria's Secret Angel. Praised by the bigwigs of the modeling industry for her skills as a model, Kurková was counted among the world's highest-paid models by 2007. Also known for her humanitarian work, Kurková was honored by Women Together, a non-profit organization, in 2006.

Jana Novotná was a tennis player best remembered for winning the 1998 Wimbledon singles title. She was also renowned as a doubles player as she won 12 Grand Slam doubles titles, achieving the Career Grand Slam twice in the process. Novotná also competed in other important tournaments like the Olympics where she won two silver medals and one bronze medal.

Silvia Saint is a Czech former pornographic actress who appeared in over 300 pornographic films. She achieved popularity in 1996 when she was named Penthouse Pet of the Year in the magazine's Czech edition. As a pornographic actress, Silvia Saint won many awards, including an AVN Award. In 2012, she was made an inductee of the AVN Hall of Fame.

Kristýna Plíšková is a Czech tennis player who holds the record for the highest number of aces served in a WTA Tour match, which she set while playing against Monica Puig Marchán at the 2016 Australian Open. Kristýna Plíšková has won one singles title on the WTA Tour so far.

Barbora Krejčíková is a Czech tennis player best known for winning the 2021 French Open singles title. A successful doubles player, Krejčíková has won four Grand Slam doubles titles and three Grand Slam mixed doubles titles so far. Barbora Krejčíková also represented her country in the 2020 Olympic Games where she won the gold medal in the women's doubles event.

Karolína Plíšková is a Czech tennis player best known for her powerful forehand and serve. A former world No. 1, Plíšková has reached the finals of two Grand Slam singles events so far. Karolína Plíšková has also helped her team win the prestigious Fed Cup on three occasions.

Marketa Irglova is a Czech-Icelandic musician, singer-songwriter, and actress. She is best known for starring in the 2007 Irish musical drama film Once, which earned Irglová numerous prestigious awards, such as an Oscar under the Best Original Song category for her song, Falling Slowly. 

Czech professional tennis-player Kateřina Siniaková won Grand Slam titles at 2018 Wimbledon Championships, 2018 French Open, 2021 French Open and 2022 Australian Open; and a gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in women’s doubles, all with compatriot Barbora Krejčíková. They became world No. 1 in doubles on October 22, 2018. Siniaková also won the 2018 Fed Cup with the Czech team.

Jarmila Kratochvílová is a Czech retired track and field athlete known for winning gold medals in the 800m and 400m events at the 1983 World Championships and setting a world record in the process in the 400m event. In 1983, she also set a world record in the 800m event. Kratochvílová also won a silver medal at the 1980 Olympics.

Lucie Šafářová is a Czech retired tennis player best known for her achievements in major doubles events such as Grand Slams. The former world No. 1 in doubles, Šafářová won five Grand Slam doubles, including two Australian Open and two French Open. Lucie Šafářová also earned a bronze medal for her country at the 2016 Olympics along with Barbora Strýcová.

Barbora Strycova is a Czech retired tennis player best known for winning the 2019 Wimbledon in the women's doubles event. She also won the bronze medal at the 2016 Olympic Games along with Lucie Šafářová. Strycova was an important member of the Czech Republic team that dominated the Fed Cup for almost a decade; she won six Fed Cup titles.

Věra Čáslavská was a Czechoslovak artistic gymnast who won 22 international titles, including 11 European Championships, four World Championships, and seven Olympic gold medals. The most decorated gymnast in Czech history, Čáslavská is the only gymnast to have won at least one Olympic gold in each individual event. In 1998, she was inducted into the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame.

Czech supermodel-actor Eva Herzigová was quite a sports lover in her younger days. She deviated to modeling after winning a pageant at 16. Known for her iconic Guess and Wonderbra campaigns, Herzigová, who is now a mother of three, has won hearts with her classic smile and blue-green eyes.

Czech model and philanthropist Petra Nemcova has not only graced the covers of magazines such as Elle and Cosmopolitan but is also associated with the non-profit All Hands And Hearts. She barely escaped death in the 2004 tsunami in Thailand but lost her photographer boyfriend Simon Atlee in the disaster.

Karolína Muchová is a Czech tennis player who won the 2019 Korea Open, her first title on the WTA Tour. Over the course of her career, Muchová has scored victories over popular players like Garbiñe Muguruza, Karolína Plíšková, and Ashleigh Barty. Muchová has been praised for her ability to manufacture winners from typically defensive shots like drop shots and lobs.

Linda Fruhvirtová is a Czech tennis player who has won three singles titles and two doubles titles on the ITF Circuit so far. Since 2020, she has been climbing up the ladder of the WTA-ranking. Linda Fruhvirtová is also considered a player to watch out for in the future.

Marketa Vondrousova is a Czech tennis player best known for winning the silver medal in the singles event at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. At the age of 19, she reached the finals of the 2019 French Open, becoming the first teenage Grand Slam finalist since Caroline Wozniacki in 2009. Marketa Vondrousova is considered one of the best returners.

Czech figure-skater Vera Ralston represented her nation under her birth name Věra Hrubá at the 1936 European Figure Skating Championships, the 1936 Winter Olympics, and the 1937 European Figure Skating Championships. She later immigrated to the US and became a naturalized citizen. She made her name as an actress appearing in films like Storm Over Lisbon, Dakota, and The Fighting Kentuckian.

Ester Ledecká is a Czech alpine skier and snowboarder. She is best known for winning gold medals at the 2018 and 2022 Olympics in parallel giant slalom. In the 2018 Olympics, Ledecká also won gold medal in the super-G event, becoming the first person to win two gold medals using two different types of equipment at the same Winter Olympics.

Pestova has also modelled for Victoria's Secret and L'Oréal.

Ivana Trump was the first wife of Donald Trump, who she married in 1977. Marie Bouzkova is a Czech tennis player who came into prominence in 2014 when she won the US Open girls' singles title. She competes in the WTA Tour and ITF Women's Circuit. Marie Bouzkova currently has 12 ITF singles titles and three WTA doubles titles under her belt.

Alena Šeredová is a Czech actress and model best known for her work in Italy. Over the years, Šeredová has appeared on the covers of popular magazines like Playboy Europe, Penthouse Europe, Quo, and Spy. Her popularity increased in 2011 when she got married to Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon; they separated in May 2014.

Nicole Vaidišová is a Czech retired tennis player best known for her powerful serve and groundstrokes. Her best Grand Slam result came in 2006 and 2007 when she qualifid for the semi-finals of the 2006 French Open and the 2007 Australian Open. Nicole Vaidišová won six WTA Tour singles titles before announcing her retirement for the second time in 2016.

Milena Jesenska was a Czech writer, editor, journalist, and translator. She is best remembered for translating Franz Kafka's works from German to Czech and for her romantic relationship with Kafka when she was still married to Ernst Pollak. She is also known for her action of saving the lives of many Jewish and political refugees when the Nazis occupied Czechoslovakia.

Gabriela Gunčíková is a Czech singer who achieved national prominence in 2011 when she won the Best New Artist award at the Český slavík awards. In 2016, Gabriela Gunčíková represented her country at the Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm with the song, I Stand.

Tatana Kucharova is a Czech beauty queen and model. She achieved national recognition in 2006 when she made history by becoming the first contestant from the Czech Republic to win the Miss World title. Tatana Kucharova went on to appear in popular TV shows such as StarDance, where she finished second in 2013.

Lída Baarová was a Czech actress whose professional life was overshadowed by her personal counterpart; she is best remembered as the mistress of Joseph Goebbels, a Nazi propaganda minister. Her life and career inspired the 2016 film The Devil's Mistress, a dramatization of Lída Baarová's life, in which Baarová was played by Slovak actress Tatiana Pauhofová.

Czech tennis player Tereza Martincová has won four singles titles on the ITF Circuit, including ITF Heraklion, Greece (2014); ITF Lenzerheide, Switzerland (2015); ITF Óbidos, Portugal (2018); and ITF Essen, Germany (2019). She achieved a career-high singles ranking of 40 on February 14, 2022, and a career-high doubles ranking of 79 on March 7, 2022.

Tereza Srbova is a Czech model, writer, and actress. She is best known for her work in films like Eastern Promises and Red Joan. Srbova made her short film debut as a writer and director in the 2017 film Meanders, which was honored at the Ischia Global Film Festival. Srbova also published her first graphic novel titled Sidonie in 2021.

Hana Mandlíková is a retired tennis player best known for winning four Grand Slam singles titles. She also won the doubles title at the 1989 US Open. Mandlíková won the Fed Cup for Czechoslovakia on four occasions. Counted among the greatest players of all time, Hana Mandlíková was made an inductee of the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 1994.
