Tzachi Halevy is an Israeli singer, songwriter, and actor, best known for playing Razi in the 2013 drama film, ‘Bethlehem.’ Halevy started his music career in 1999, when he became part of the Israeli song and dance troupe ‘Mayumana.’ He received his big breakthrough in 2012, when he was selected to appear in the first season of the reality television series ‘The Voice Israel.’ After doing well in the reality series, he came up with his maiden album titled ‘Kivvunim.’ Around the same time, Halevy also started his acting career, appearing in plays displayed at ‘Haifa Theater’ and ‘Habima Theatre.’ He made his feature film debut in 2013, playing a pivotal role in the Yuval Adler-directed movie ‘Bethlehem.’ Tzachi Halevy sparked public controversy in October 2018, when he married popular television personality Lucy Aharish.
- Tzachi Halevy was born on March 12, 1975 in Petah Tikva, Israel. He was born into a Jewish family and was raised in many countries, as his family kept moving because of his father’s work. His father, who was an 8th generation Sabra, worked in the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office. Halevy is of mixed origin as his father was an Israeli Jew, while his mother was a Moroccan Jew.
