Torri Webster is an award-winning Canadian actor who is best recognized for her portrayal of ‘Tess Foster’ in the Canadian teen sitcom ‘Life with Boys.’ She started training in dance when she was 3 years old. She loved to perform on stage with her dance teams. Eventually, she developed an interest in performing arts and attended the ‘Wexford Collegiate School for the Arts,’ where she also played lead roles in different on-stage musical theater productions. After pursuing her career as an actor, Torri landed up with the most memorable performance of her career: the starring role of ‘Tess Foster’ in ‘Life with Boys’. The role won her the ‘Young Artist Award’ for the ‘Best Leading Young Actress in a TV Series’ award. Torri was born on August 12, 1996, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, to Steve Webster and his wife, Tracy, of the Don Mills area.
Torri began training in dance when she was 3 years old. With time, she began performing with her dance teams on stage. She studied at a French immersion elementary school.
As a teenager, she developed a keen interest in performing arts. This eventually saw her attending high school at the ‘Wexford Collegiate School for the Arts.’ This public high school located in Scarborough, Ontario, has specialized arts programs. While in school, Torri honed her performing skills by playing lead roles in different on-stage musical theater productions of the school.

Torri starred as ‘Trish Benson,’ along with Lauren Holly, Rick Roberts, and Azer Greco, as members of the Benson family in the comedy family TV movie ‘The Town Christmas Forgot.’ The TV movie, also known as ‘Christmas in Nowhere,’ released in the US on November 25, 2010. It released in France on December 23, 2011, and in Belgium on December 16, 2012.
One of the most notable on-screen portrayals of her career was that of ‘Tess Foster’ in the Canadian teen sitcom ‘Life with Boys.’ The first season of the series was originally broadcast on ‘YTV’ in Canada, from September 9, 2011, to October 9, 2012, encompassing 22 episodes. The series was renewed for a second season. The shooting began in Toronto, Ontario, on September 4, 2012. The second season, consisting of 18 episodes, was originally aired on ‘YTV’ in Canada, from October 23, 2012, to August 27, 2013.
Created by Canadian screenwriter, executive producer, and filmmaker Michael Poryes, the co-creator of the ‘Disney Channel’ shows ‘Hannah Montana’ and ‘That's So Raven,’ ‘Life with Boys’ premiered on the American network ‘TeenNick’ on February 6, 2013. The series featured Torri as a14-year-old teenager, ‘Tess Foster,’ the only girl in her house. Her remarkable performance won her the ‘Young Artist Award’ for the ‘Best Leading Young Actress in a TV Series’ in 2013.
