Tameka Harris, aka Tiny Harris, is an American singer, songwriter, and television personality. She is popular for being a member of the multi-platinum R&B vocal group named ‘Xscape’. She is also well-known for being the ex-wife of rapper T.I. Harris. The talented lady has created several hits in her career. She wrote the song ‘No Scrubs’ that helped her fetch a Grammy Award. She has also won two Soul Train Music Awards; one for Best New R&B Artist and the other for Best R&B Album. She has received the A-Town Music Award under the category Best Duo/Group as well. Her other accomplishments include winning the American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers Award under the R&B as well as Pop Music categories. And it doesn’t end here! The musical star has also won the ASCAP Rap Award for her contribution to the track ‘No Pigeons’. Besides singing and song writing, Harris has appeared on TV reality shows ‘Tiny and Toya’ and ‘T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle’.

  • Tameka Harris started her career by joining the R&B quartet ‘Xscape’ in the year 1992. This group initially released three albums namely ‘Hummin' Comin' at 'Cha’, ‘Traces of My Lipstick’ and ‘Off the Hook’. Harris then contributed to six songs of the group. These songs were: ‘Understanding’, ‘All I Need’, ‘Do You Want To?’, ‘My Little Secret’, ‘Am I Dreamin' and ‘Love's a Funny Thing’. In the year 1998, ‘Xscape’ parted ways and Harris started focussing on her solo career.
  • However, after some time she reunited with her former band mates Tamika Scott and LaTocha and released the Xscape album ‘Unchained’ followed by the single ‘What's Up’ in the year 2005. Four years later, she got featured in the reality show ‘Tiny and Toya’. In 2011, her other show ‘T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle’ premiered on VH1. Then in 2014, the singer cum songwriter made a comeback in the music industry with her single ‘What The Fuck You Gon Do?’ The same year, Harris’ show ‘Tiny and Shekinah's Weave Trip’ featuring the singer and her best friend premiered on VH1.
