Mark Foster Biography

Mark Foster is an American singer and multi-instrumentalist. He is most famous as the lead vocalist of the rock band Foster the People. Till date, the band has released three albums, namely ‘Torches,’ ‘Supermodel’ and ‘Sacred Hearts Club,’ along with a number of songs including the hit single ‘Pumped Up Kicks’. Foster also serves as a songwriter and has contributed to a number of songs. Passionate about music since his childhood, he moved to Los Angeles in 2002 to pursue a professional career in the field. Initially, he worked various odd jobs to support himself financially. After a lot of struggles, Foster finally achieved success as the frontman of Foster the People. He is extremely talented when it comes to singing, songwriting, and creating music. He is proficient in playing various instruments, including the piano, synthesizer, keyboard, and guitar.
