Jessica McNamee began her acting career when she landed the recurring role of Lisa Duffy in Seven Network’s long-running soap opera ‘Home and Away’ in 2007 . Lisa debuted on the show in the January 22, 2007 episode as a schoolmate and love interest of Drew Curtis (Bobby Morley). She later breaks up with Curtis and begins dating illegal drag racer, Denni. McNamee made her last appearance on the show on the August 24, 2007 episode.
She began playing Sammy Westaway, the wife of Nathan Rafter (Angus Mclaren), in the Seven Network’s family-oriented drama/comedy television program ‘Packed To The Rafters’. Jessica McNamee was part of the main cast in the first three seasons of the show, from 2008 to 2010. She did not appear in any episodes of the following two seasons before making her return in the sixth and final season in 2013.
In 2007, she played Amanda Blakely in the telefilm ‘Hammer Bay’. Two years later, she debuted on the big screen in writer/director Sean Byrne’s horror thriller ‘The Loved Ones’. She then appeared in the short film ‘50-50’. In her debut Hollywood project, Michael Sucsy’s 2012 film ‘The Vow’, she was cast as the sister of Rachel McAdams’ character, Paige Collins. Her co-stars in the movie were Jason Statham, Li Bingbing, and Rainn Wilson. In 2019, she essayed the role of Rachel Adams in an episode of the Hulu horror anthology series ‘Into the Dark’. McNamee is set to star in the upcoming films ‘Locusts’ and ‘Black Water: Abyss’.

Actress Teagan Croft is her niece through her sister Rebecca. She also has a cousin named Madelaine Collignon, who works as a news presenter at Prime7.
