Guy Ramsay Ferry, better known as Guy Fieri, is a man of many talents; he is a restaurateur, author, game show host, and television personality. He started making a mark in the American hospitality by opening a chain of restaurants in different cities of California in collaboration with others. Presently, he is the co-owner of three restaurants in California and licences his name to two restaurants, one each in Las Vegas and Baltimore, under the brand ‘Guy Fieri’s Kitchen and Bar’. After earning recognition as a restaurateur, he attempted to make his presence felt in the small screen segment of the entertainment industry. Based on a videotape he had sent to the organizers of the reality food show, ‘Next Food Network Star’, he was selected as a contestant in the program’s second season, which he ultimately went on to win. Thereafter, he hosted a self-titled cooking show, ‘Guy’s Big Bite’ which continues to be aired on ‘Food Network’. He also hosts the popular food show, ‘Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives’, in which he showcases local eateries of America. Fieri has co-authored a few recipe books as well as written a recipe book independently.
