After twenty-nine years, a few weeks before his scheduled execution, a young lawyer named Adam Hall, struggles to win clemency for Cayhall. It soon turns out that Adam is the grandson of Cayhall, and he soon finds evidence suggesting that his grandfather may not be responsible for the crime.

The film revolves around such a woman named Kate, who is assigned as a handmaid to the commander.
