Born in California, USA, to Charlie Chaplin and his wife Oona O’Neill, Geraldine started her career with modelling and dancing. She made her acting debut with the 1952 film ‘Limelight’ and had her first major breakthrough with the leading role in the film ‘Doctor Zhivago’ in 1965.
