Roman Abramovich is an Israeli-Russian businessman and politician. Over the years, he has played an influential role as the primary owner of Millhouse LLC and as the owner of the popular Premier League football club Chelsea F.C. Roman Abramovich is one of the richest persons in the world and has donated over US$2.5 billion to various charitable causes between 1999 and 2013.

Zedd is a Russian-German songwriter, record producer, and DJ. He is best known for his 2012 single, Clarity, which earned him a Grammy Award in 2014 after peaking at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Although he mainly performs and produces electro house music, Zedd also draws inspiration from dubstep, progressive house, and classical music.

Anastasia Potapova is a Russian tennis player. She started playing as a child and is a former junior No. 1. She emerged as the 2016 Wimbledon Championships girls' singles champion after defeating Dayana Yastremska from Ukraine in the final. She made her debut in a Grand Slam tournament in 2017. She played in the 2021 Abu Dhabi Women's Tennis Open. 

Alexei Rykov was a Russian Bolshevik revolutionary and a Soviet politician. He served as the  Premier of Russia and the Soviet Union in the 1920s. A key player in the 1905 Russian Revolution, he often came into political conflict with Vladimir Lenin. He oversaw the implementation of the "War Communism" economic policy during the Russian Civil War.

Anastasia Gasanova is a Russian tennis player who made her WTA Tour main-draw debut at the 2021 Abu Dhabi Open. She defeated former world No. 1, Karolína Plíšková in the second round of that tournament. She reached her first quarterfinal of a WTA Tour event at the St.Petersburg Trophy the same year. She has been coached by Elena Bryukhovets. 

Oleg Tabakov was a Soviet and Russian actor who had a prolific career in both theatre and films. He is credited with founding the Sovremennik Theatre in Moscow. An influential and popular figure, Tabakov was honored with many prestigious awards such as the Golden Mask Award and USSR State Prize. He was named People's Artist of the USSR in 1988.

Yevgeny Mironov is a distinguished Soviet and Russian stage and film actor who has received several awards including People's Artist of Russia. Over the years Mironov has given notable performances in films like Love and Encore Again!; and in plays like The Passions of Bumbarash. He serves as Artistic Director of Theatre of Nations and has founded Mironov Theater Company.

Soviet physicist and chemist Nikolay Semyonov is most famous for his outstanding work on the mechanism of chemical transformation for which he received the 1956 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, together with Sir Cyril Norman Hinshelwood. Semyonov published two significant books namely Chemical Kinetics and Chain Reactions and Some Problems of Chemical Kinetics and Reactivity outlining his work.

Russian art nouveau (or style modern) painter Victor Borisov-Musatov is best remembered for his paintings of female figures. Plagued by kyphosis, or a damaged spine, since childhood, he died of a heart attack at 35. A founder-leader of the Moscow Association of Artists, he was also a leading figure of Symbolism.
