Roseanne Park is a singer, dancer, and model who is best known as one of the members of the South Korean girl group ‘Black Pink’ alongside Jennie, Lisa, and Jisoo. The group is known for its singles "Whistle ", "Square Two", "Playing with Fire" and "As If It's Your Last” as well as for its extended plays "Square Up" and "Black Pink". Even though Park is of South Korean origin, she was born in New Zealand and raised in Australia. She started out as a singer in Australia. However, after failing to find success there, she applied to the Korean company YG Entertainment and eventually moved to South Korea after clearing the audition. Since then, Park has been performing as a solo artiste and also as a part of the group Black Pink. She is eager to learn and is constantly striving to outperform herself. She serves as an inspiration to many young girls who are looking to build a career in the field of music. Besides being a singer, she also works as a model.

Career
Roseanne Park auditioned for YG Entertainment, got selected, and eventually moved to South Korea in 2012. At the company, she completed a 4-year trainee education program and also recorded the song “Without You” with G-Dragon during her course. In June 2016, she joined the girl group ‘Black Pink,’ and two months later, made her debut as Rosé alongside fellow singers Lisa, Jennie, and Jisoo, releasing their debut single "Square One". This was followed by “Boombayah” and “Whistle”. On November 1, 2016, the band released their second single titled “Square Two,” followed by the singles “Stay” and “Playing with Fire”. The group proved to be successful and the girls won numerous newcomer awards within the first five months. They were even regarded as one of the best new K-Pop groups of the year 2016 by Billboard.
On June 22, 2017, Black Pink released a new track called “As If It's Your Last”. The music video of the song earned over ten million views within 17 hours of its release! It then went on to garner more than more than 100 million views in just 46 days, making it one of the most watched video of a Korean girl group. The following month, Park and her team performed for the first time on stage in Tokyo. In August, they released their self-titled debut EP. On March 28, 2018, Park and her girl group released a new version of their self-titled EP titled ‘Re: BLACKPINK,’ which had their previous songs in the Korean and Japanese languages.
In June 2018, they came up with their debut mini-album ‘Square Up,’ featuring the songs “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du”, “Really”, “Forever Young” and “See U Later”. The single “Ddu-Du-Du Ddu” peaked at #55 on the Billboard Hot 100 and at #17 on the Official Single trending charts. Park, alongside her group Black Pink, embarked on their first tour ‘Black Pink Arena Tour 2018’ in July. On July 26, the band’s YouTube channel hit 10 million subscribers, eventually earning a Diamond Play Button. In October, Park and her band mates collaborated with Dua Lipa for the song "Kiss and Make Up".
