A Familiar Beast: ‘A Familiar Beast’ is the story of a man who is disgraced while struggling to overcome the aftermath of his divorce, as he searches for redemption. Out of desperation and loneliness, he goes on a hunting trip with a friend who he hadn’t seen since high school, and the book follows their strange and comic weekend.

How to Get Into Our House and Where We Keep the Money: This is basically a collection of two stories that revolve around female protagonists. In the former, Panio was seen reading excerpts and sharing his views on the protagonist, JT LeRoy, a fictional writer created by American author Laura Albert.

Panio was born on 7th July 1975 and was brought up in Massachusetts. He is of American-Greek descent. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a major in Literature. He holds a management degree from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business.

Panio married actress and author, Molly Ringwald, in 2007. The couple has three children – Mathilda Ereni, Roman Stylianos and Adele Georgiana. Panio and Molly have been married for a decade now and their relationship is as strong as ever.
