Max Mittelman’s first significant work as a voice actor was seen in the English version of the Japanese anime ‘Toradora!’, where he voiced a character named Hisamitsu Noto. He was also heard in the popular anime ‘Naruto Shippuden’, where he played young Hashirama Senju.

He continued to voice for several other anime mostly in recurring and guest roles. Some of them were ‘Coppelion’, ‘A Lull in the Sea’, ‘The Seven Deadly Sins’, ‘Your Lie in April’, ‘Erased’ and ‘Mob Psycho 100’.

One of his most important works is his role of Saitama, the lead character, in the English version of ‘One-Punch Man’. The story revolves around a superhero who can defeat any opponent by landing a single punch. Therefore, he seeks to find a worthy opponent after being bored by lack of challenges. The anime received a lot of popularity and appreciation worldwide in a short time. He played the character between 2016 and 2017.

Another one of his important works is his role of Overflow, an alien, in the popular animated TV series ‘Ben 10’, between 2016 and 2018. The show was a reboot of the 2005 animated series of the same name. The show was about a 10-year-old boy named Ben, who finds a special watch named the Omnitrix, which could transform him into ten different aliens, each with different superpowers. The reboot has been hugely criticized for being inferior to the original.

Other important works in his career include ‘Marvel’s Spider-Man’, where he voiced several characters such as Harry and Norman Osborn, between 2017 and 2019, and ‘DC Super Hero Girls’, since 2019, where he voiced multiple characters include Superman and his alter ego Clark Kent.

Max Mittelman has also provided voice for several animated films. Some of them include ‘Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV’ (2016), ‘Boruto: Naruto the Movie’ (2017), The Death of Superman’ (2018), and ‘Reign of the Supermen’ (2019).

He has also voiced characters in numerous games, such as ‘Smite’, ‘Halo 5: Guardians’, ‘Star Wars Battlefront’, ‘Mirror’s Edge Catalyst’, ‘Fire Emblem Heroes’, ‘Persona 5’, ‘Code Vein’, and ‘Borderlands 3’.
