  • When they were nine months old, the Tyndall sisters made their screen debut in the 1993 film ‘Heart and Souls,’ both portraying a character named Baby Thomas Reilly. One of the common norms in the entertainment industry is to cast twins in the roles of children. As children tend to be unpredictable, it is considered safe to have more than one actor playing the same role. In this project, they got to work with the likes of Robert Downey Jr., Charles Grodin, and Alfre Woodard. Their next screen appearance came about a year later, in the telefilm ‘Roseanne: An Unauthorized Biography’. After this, they worked in their first television series, NBC’s medical drama ‘ER’.

Their next film, the 1998 romantic fantasy, ‘City of Angels,’ was the first project they were credited for. They were cast in one more television film, the 1998 release ‘Little Girl Fly Away’, before opting for a five-year break from the entertainment industry.
  • In 2003, at the age of 10 or 11, they made their small-screen return in TLC’s children’s show ‘Animal Jam’. That year, Kylie made her first screen appearance without her sister in ABC’s variety show ‘The Wayne Brady Show’. Kylie lent her voice to one of the aliens in the 2003 live-action/animated comedy film ‘Looney Tunes: Back in Action’. It was the third full-length film to feature real actors and Loony Tunes characters together, after ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit’ (1988) and ‘Space Jam’ (1996).
  • In the first season finale of CBS’ fantasy family drama ‘Joan of Arcadia’, which aired on May 21, 2004, the sisters were cast as twin Gods. They played the twins Kathleen (Kylie) and Kaitlyn (Keaton) in the short film ‘The Way Station.’
  • From 2004 to 2005, Kylie appeared in 30 episodes of CBS’ television soap opera ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’, portraying the character of Steffy Forrester. In April 2005, the roles of the Forrester twins were recast with Addison and Alex Hoover. Addison replaced Kyle as Steffy while Alex replaced Keaton as Phoebe.
  • They filmed what was supposed to be the pilot episode of the TV series ‘Insatiable’ in 2007. However, the show was never picked up by any network. The sisters appeared in three episodes of HBO’s drama series ‘Big Love’ in 2007 as Penny and Sissy Marquart. In 2011, they were cast in ‘And They’re Off’, which has turned out to be their last acting gig to date. Kylie portrayed a character named Katie and Keaton was cast as Megan.
