Jason Lively first appeared in an episode of the 1979 drama ‘The Dukes of Hazzard’. He then guest-starred in an episode of ‘ABC Afterschool Specials’. In 1983, he appeared as Chris Brace in the science fiction film ‘Brainstorm’. He also appeared in an episode of ‘The Dukes of Hazzard’ that year. The actor then did the American comedy flick ‘European Vacation’ in 1985. The following year, he played the role of Chris in the science fiction horror comedy movie ‘Night of the Creeps’. Soon after this, Lively appeared in the movie ‘Ghost Chase’.

From 1989 to 1990, he had a recurring role in the TV program ‘Mancuso, F.B.I.’. During this time, the actor also did the flick ‘Monday Morning’. He was then cast as Donovan in the musical comedy film ‘Rock 'n' Roll High School Forever’. In the year 1992, Lively appeared in the television films ‘Gunsmoke: To the Last Man’ and ‘Maximum Force’. A year later, he worked in the video game ‘Return to Zork’. He then had a cameo appearance in the 2015 movie ‘Vacation’. After this, Lively got featured in the western film ‘Hickok’.

Jason Lively was born as Ronald Jason Lively on March 12, 1968 in Carroll County, Georgia, USA to talent manager Elaine and her first husband Ronald Otis Lively. He has two sisters, Lori and Robyn, who are well-known actresses. Lively is the step-son of actor Ernie Lively. Through this relation, he has a half-sister, Blake, as well as a half-brother, Eric, who are also actors.
