Cameron Richardson is an American actress, producer, and model. She is known for her performances in the TV series ‘Harper’s Island’ and the film ‘National Lampoon Presents Dorm Daze’. She was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and raised in New Jersey. She graduated from Old Bridge High School, after which she moved to New York to pursue a career in modeling. She found moderate success as a model and decided to branch out into acting as well. She began her acting career with an important role in the TV series ‘Cover Me’. She made her film debut shortly after in ‘Frank McKlusky, C.I’. In her career so far, she has appeared in many films and TV series, such as ‘National Lampoon’s Barely Legal’, ‘National Lampoon Presents Dorm Daze’, ‘Harper’s Island’ and ‘Holy Ghost People’. She was ranked at the 76th position in the list of ‘102 Sexiest Women in the World’ in 2002. In 2005, she appeared in the 52nd position on the ‘Maxim Hot 100’ list.

Cameron Richardson used to model for fashion magazines before beginning her acting career. She has modeled for several brands as well. She began her acting career in 2000 in the TV series ‘Cover Me’, where she had a significant role. She made her film debut in 2002, in the comedy film ‘Frank McKlusky, C.I’. The next year, she appeared in the films ‘National Lampoon’s Barely Legal’ and ‘National Lampoon Presents Dorm Daze’. Both of the films were critical and commercial failures. Her next role on television was in the drama series ‘Skin’. It received mixed to positive reviews.
In 2005, she appeared in two films: ‘The Good Humor Man’ and ‘Supercross’. The same year, she also started playing an important role in the TV series ‘Point Pleasant’. Despite good reviews from the critics, the show was eventually cancelled.
In 2006, Richardson appeared in the psychological horror film ‘Open Water 2: Adrift’. It was a critical and commercial success. In the next few years, she appeared in several other films, such as ‘Rise: Blood Hunter’ (2007), ‘Familiar Strangers’ (2008) and ‘Wreckage’ (2010).
Her important TV projects in the 2000s include ‘12 Miles of Bad Road’ in 2008. The next year, she had a main role in the horror mystery series ‘Harper’s Island’. It was about a group of friends who travel to an island for a destination wedding but later find out there is a killer among them. The series was met positively by the critics.
In 2012, she had a small role in the crime film ‘Hotel Noir’. She was also seen in two other films the same year: ‘Vanished’ and ‘Last Call.’ The next year, she acted in the psychological thriller film ‘Holy Ghost People’. In 2016, she appeared in the comedy film ‘Get a Job,’ and in 2017, she appeared in the film ‘Hickok’.
