Who is Becca Tobin?
Becca Tobin is an American actress, singer, and dancer. She is best known for playing Kitty Wilde on Fox’s musical series ‘Glee’. She grew up in Marietta, Georgia, alongside her elder sister. Her first performance as an actor was at the age of four in her school play. She began studying in Pebblebrook High School and was later transferred to the Joseph Wheeler High School. Tobin was constantly bullied as a school student due to which she didn’t even attend her graduation ceremony. She later studied performing arts at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, eventually graduating in 2007. She began her professional acting career on the stage in a production of ‘Cats’. Her brilliant acting skills soon landed her a major role in the musical TV series ‘Glee’. Today, Tobin is counted amongst the finest actresses in the American TV industry. On the personal front, she is married to entrepreneur Zach Martin.
Becca Tobin began her career on the stage in 2005, appearing in a production of ‘Cats’. A year later, she joined the cast of the musical ‘West Side Story’ which premiered at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts in Houston. In 2008, she joined the ensemble cast of the plays ‘High School Musical on Stage’ and ‘Oklahoma’.
In 2009, she appeared in the Broadway production ‘Rock of Ages’.The jukebox musical, built around the 1980s’ classic rock songs, premiered at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. Also in 2009, she made her TV debut in an episode of 'Wiener & Wiener'.
From 2012 to 2015, Tobin was seen in her breakthrough role as the Glee club member and cheerleader Kitty Wilde in the musical TV series ‘Glee’. Her first appearance was in the fourth season premiere episode. She eventually joined the main cast for the show’s fifth season. During her tenure, she also performed several songs on the show, a couple of them being "Everybody Talks" and "Hey Jude". These songs have been released as singles and even feature on various soundtrack albums.
In 2014, Tobin made a guest appearance in Lifetime's legal drama series ‘Drop Dead Diva’ in the episode "Afterlife”. That year, she also featured in an episode of ABC Family's drama ‘Mystery Girls’. This was followed by a guest role in ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’. Then in 2017, she starred in Hallmark’s TV movie ‘A Song for Christmas’ as Adelaide Kay.
In 2018, she played Hope in ‘Love at First Dance’, a Hallmark made-for-television movie. That year, she also began serving as a host on the show ‘LadyGang’. In 2019, Tobin starred in the television film ‘Sister of the Bride’.
Becca Tobin also runs a fashion blog. Her blog, titled 'June Moss,' was named after her beloved grandmother and renowned fashion icon Kate Moss.

Becca Tobin was born as Rebecca Grace Tobin on January 18, 1986, in Marietta, Georgia, USA. She was raised alongside an elder sister. Both of her parents are attorneys. She initially studied at Pebblebrook High School and later transferred to the Joseph Wheeler High School. Tobin then went on to graduate from New York City’s American Musical and Dramatic Academy.
On December 3, 2016, the actress married Zach Martin in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
