Benny Imprint is a dancer, rapper, editor and producer. However, he has gained prominence for his YouTube videos in which he often performs sketch comedies. Benny has a huge fan base as he makes use of his many talents to produce a variety of videos. With more than 1.2 million subscribers, Benny’s YouTube channel ‘King Imprint’ is one of the most popular channels at present. Some of his popular dance videos are ‘iHeart Memphis - Hit the Quan Dance’, ‘Whip Dance’, ‘Drop Dance’, ‘Freestyle Dance with Blake’ and the list goes on. Out of these, ‘Hit the Quan Dance’ alone has so far amassed more than 70 million views. Benny has posted many videos on choreography as well. He has even choreographed dance steps for songs sung by artists like Bobby Shmurda and Lil Wayne. He has also composed a song which is titled as ‘Benny Whip’.
The YouTube Story
Benny started dancing when he was young. He grew up watching Michael Jackson, and considers the late pop star as his idol. After reaching a certain age, Benny decided to make dancing his full-time career. He used various social media platforms to promote his then upcoming YouTube channel.
In 2011, he created his first YouTube channel, ‘kay jewlz’. After a few initial hiccups, Benny’s channel started to gain prominence. The videos that he posted in the channel gained viewership which led to a few subscribers as well. In an attempt to increase the channel’s popularity, Benny worked towards restructuring his dance moves.
His idea of presenting a different style of hip-hop moves paid dividends. He succeeded in his attempt and the number of his subscribers too, shot up. Benny then created a new YouTube channel in 2014 and named it ‘King Imprint’. He added a variety to his content by posting prank, challenge and comedy videos, along with his usual dance videos. This way he made sure that his channel covered all the bases in terms of entertaining his fans and viewers.
The first video that he uploaded on his new channel was titled ‘Bobby Shmurda Dance’. In the description section, he had claimed that the dance moves used in the video were inspired by some of Michael Jackson’s famous moves. Next, he uploaded his performance that he had delivered during the auditions of the reality show, ‘America’s Got Talent’.
Benny’s next set of videos was based on a new style of dance, the whip dance. This particular dance form was created by another famous YouTube personality and Benny imparted a new dimension to it. After posting a couple of ‘Whip dance’ videos, Benny uploaded a video in which he had choreographed for the song ‘Almost Lose It’ by Trey Songz.
Benny then posted a video titled ‘A Day in My Life’. The video was posted based on his fans’ request and he had put in a lot of effort to capture his daily routine. The video earned more than 100,000 views. Next, Benny came up with another interesting dance form called ‘Hump Dance’. He collaborated with a fellow YouTube star named Prince_Hiiikeem for many of his hump dance videos.
Benny then went on to collaborate with MTV for the video, ‘MTV Cribs Parody’. It was a parody of the song ‘Mo Money Mo Problems’ featuring Mase & Puff Daddy. But Benny’s most viewed video to date is the one in which he had choreographed for the song, ‘iHeart Memphis - Hit the Quan’. The video was requested by his fans and Benny executed it perfectly.
He then made a transition to comedy videos and the first one in the series was ‘The Christmas Present’. It was basically a prank video, executed by his brother, Mathieu. For most of his comedy videos, Benny has collaborated with his brother. He has posted story time videos too. Benny, along with his girlfriend, posted a video, explaining their fans about their break-up and the reasons behind it. He also posted a video of his birthday bash. His channel also includes challenge based videos like ‘Copy Me Challenge’.
Benny always sports a ski goggle wrapped around his head which he never takes off. When he was asked about it, Benny said that he wanted to be different and try out some quirky things. He also mentioned that he will never take it off no matter what. He also has a flag of the country in which he was born inked at the back of his leg. Benny says this way he feels connected to the country.

Personal Life & Family
Benny Imprint was born on December 7, 1999, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. His family moved to Covington, Georgia shortly after his birth and Benny was raised there.
Benny graduated from Alcovy High School in Covington. He has four siblings – Mathieu, Joshua, Carmel and Gloria. Mathieu is also a YouTube star and has collaborated with Benny on many occasions. He was also a member of the dance team, ‘Team NueEra’. Benny has spent most of his time in New York and Connecticut.
