Tim Daly is an accomplished actor, director, and producer; with a huge body of work in films, television, and theatre. Born to artiste parents, he initially considered becoming a professional: a sportsperson, musician, lawyer or doctor; however, his family background as well as his innate natural talent ensured his entry into the theatre at an early age. In his interviews, Tim has often recalled that his family constantly insisted on improvising his lines and scenes; even as a third grader when he acted in a school play. Over the years, he has donned multiple hats in show business. Apart from acting, he has also produced several movies, TV series and has ventured into direction. In spite of his tremendous success in movies and on television, Daly still has great reverence for the theatre. In 2018, he teamed up with his sister Tyne for the play ‘Downstairs’. This play hit a chord with viewers and received rave reviews from several critics.
