Shanna LeRoy Bio

Along with her family’s daily shenanigans, Shanna LeRoy sometimes covers important topics like cyber bullying on her channel. In one of her Q & A sessions, Shanna expressed her anguish at those who take the privilege of character assassinating online celebrities or YouTubers without realising how little of their lives they know of. She strongly believes in her children’s right to privacy and maintains that all the content that is uploaded on their channel is with their consent. Her son, Rhett, and daughter, Reese, are not keen vloggers, however, her daughters, Kesley and Perri, create a lot of content for Shanna’s YouTube channel. Her first video, which crossed the mark of million views was dedicated to her second child, Logan, whom she lost to a heart disease in 2006.

Shanna LeRoy has strict rules for her children to be able to host their own channels on YouTube. She wants them to be independent with their work and hence encouraged them to shoot and edit their own videos for their individual channels. Kesley and Rhett both are individual vloggers with quite an impressive subscriber base. 

Shanna LeRoy is also a professional photographer, and has a photography blogpost. On Logan’s two-year death anniversary, she posted all her deceased son’s pictures – right from birth to his funeral – on her blogpost with a beautiful eulogy. This devastating loss gave Shanna the motivation to start photographing terminally ill children and document their memories. She also does a lot of photography for families capturing their mother and fathers with their children capturing beautiful moments in a frame.
