Shane Harper Biography

Shane Harper, born as Shane Steven Harper is an American actor, singer, and dancer. He is best known for playing the roles of Spencer Walsh in the series ‘Good Luck Charlie’, of Austin in the drama ‘Awkward’ as well as of Ian Chandler in the series ‘Happyland’. He is also famous for appearing as Josh Wheaton in the independent film ‘God's Not Dead’. Harper has done a lot of other acting projects as well. He has appeared in the movies ‘High School Musical 2’ and ‘Flipped’. He has even acted in a Bollywood movie titled ‘My Name Is Khan’. In addition, the actor has performed in a handful of television films, such as 'The Passion: New Orleans', 'The Time Capsule' and 'Dirty Dancing'. As a singer, Harper has released a self-titled studio album along with the EPs 'Dancin' in the Rain' and 'Like I Did'. He has sung many singles including "Dance with Me", "Rocketship", "One Step Closer" and "Hold You Up". The American artiste has appeared in numerous music videos as well. Talking about his awards and honors, Harper won a ‘K-Love Fan Award’ for his performance in ‘God's Not Dead.’
