Ricky Garcia Biography

Before rising to fame, Ricky Garcia was a model. He first came into spotlight when he auditioned for ‘X Factor’, season 3. When he was eliminated, judge of the show Simon Cowell asked him to stay and later put him together with two other eliminated contestants, Emery Kelly and Jon Klaasen, and formed the boy band "Forever in Your Mind". Ricky started singing a few years before he came to ‘X Factor’. According to his teammates, he used to impersonate Justin Bieber and used to perform at festivals in Texas. They released their first music video, "She Lights the World", in November, 2013. After Jon left the band in June 2014, he was replaced by Kelly's cousin Liam Attridge. The trio has since then released quite a few music videos and singed on Disney's Hollywood Records to release their debut EP, FIYM, which contained two singles, "Hurricane" and "Enough About Me".

Ricky Garcia is admired by his fans for his dedication and hard work. He and his band act as inspiration to his fans, showing that hard work and belief in oneself pays off in the end. He and his band-mates were picked up by ‘X Factor’ judge Simon Cowell even after getting eliminated because he saw potential in them. Ricky had been in a relationship with Destiny Rogers prior to dating dancer, actor and model Chloe Lukasiak. Both Ricky and Destiny admitted to their fans about their relationship on ASKfm. According to Destiny, their relationship ended because she was not the only girl he was interested in. Ricky and Chloe met at the 2015 Radio Disney Music Awards, where, after being introduced to the ‘Dance Moms’ star by their common acting teacher, Ricky took her number. They later clarified that their relationship took off only after they met in person the second time at the Digifest. They soon started appearing on award shows and premieres together and also posted pictures of them together on their social media accounts. Ricky then clarified to his fans on Twitter that he is dating Chloe. Chloe was featured in Ricky's music video "Wrapped Up for Christmas", while Ricky appeared on one of Chloe's YouTube videos. The adorable pair of Chloe and Ricky also got a sweet nickname from their fans, who started referring to them as "Clicky". Their relationship, however, ended before they reached their first anniversary. Their representatives informed that their hectic schedule was the reason behind their split, and they intend to remains friends. Fans of Chloe, however, were not happy about the split and accused Ricky of using Chloe to gain fame. Ricky has been hanging out with model Beatrice Vendramin for some time and took her to the 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards. Because of that, some fans blamed Ricky for cheating Chloe, who, however, promptly requested her fans to stop posting hate comments about Ricky.

Ricky Garcia, the youngest of three brothers, was born on January 22, 1999 in Puerto Rico military base of the US Navy, where his father served. The family later moved to Texas from where Ricky was picked for ‘X Factor’. After Ricky bagged a role in the sitcom ‘Best Friends Whenever’, the family moved to Los Angeles. He once broke his arm while snowboarding. He likes surfing more than skateboarding.
