Mia Goth Biography

Mia Goth got her start as a model at the age of thirteen after being discovered by Storm Model Management. She made her acting debut in 2013, appearing as P in the erotic drama movie Nymphomaniac: Vol. II. The same year, she appeared in three episodes of Sky Atlantic's crime drama Tunnel. After this, in 2014, she got featured in the Future Unlimited's music video for the track Haunted Love. That year, Mia Goth also starred in the introductory short film Magpie alongside Martin McCann.

In the year 2015, she was cast as Milja in the post-apocalyptic thriller movie The Survivalist and as Meg Weathers in the biographical adventure flick Everest. She also appeared in an episode of Wallander the same year. Then in 2017, Goth’s movie titled A Cure for Wellness got released. That year, she also appeared in the Spanish horror movie Marrowbone. Mia Goth went on to play Sara Simms in the 2018 horror film Suspiria. The same year, she also appeared as Boyse in the science fiction flick High Life. In 2020, she played Harriet Smith in a period romantic comedy film titled Emma. The following year, she was seen playing Marsha/The Bride in Karen Cinorre-directed action drama film Mayday.

Mia Goth was born Mia Mello da Silva Goth on November 30, 1993, in Southwark, London, England. During her childhood, she moved to her father's native country Canada where she lived on a farm with her family. Mia Goth later relocated to Brazil with her mother. Her maternal grandparents are Brazilian actress Maria Gladys and American-born artist Lee Jaffe.

Coming to her love life, the English actress married her Nymphomaniac co-star Shia LaBeouf in 2016. LaBeouf had dated a few actresses, such as China Brezner and Carey Mulligan before tying the knot with Goth. Her husband has been involved in many controversies till date. In 2017, he was arrested under charges of public intoxication and disorderly conduct. He has also been suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), a mental disorder that develops after an individual experiences a traumatic event. In February 2022, Mia Goth and Shia LaBeouf confirmed that they are expecting their first child. In April 2022, she gave birth to their daughter Isabel.
