In 2001, Rath made her movie debut with the film ‘Lost and Delirious.’ She had an inconspicuous role in the movie, as the friend of one of the major characters. In 2004, she appeared in two episodes of the TV series ‘Fries with That?’

In 2004, Rath bagged the first prominent role in her career. She was chosen to play the role of ‘Adena Stiles’ in the Canadian TV series ‘15/Love.’ It was telecast on the Canadian channel ‘YTV.’ It was aired on ‘Nickelodeon’ channel, in the United States, too. The series narrated the story of a group of teenagers striving to become world champions, while struggling with adolescence and romance. ‘Adena’ was one of the major characters in the series. Rath was part of all three seasons of the show, from 2004 to 2006. Her impressive performance on the show won her an award for the ‘Best Performance in Youth or Children’s Program.’

In 2007, Rath appeared in two TV films: ‘I Me Wed,’ and ‘My Daughter’s Secret.’ The same year, she appeared in an episode of the series ‘Heartland.’ In 2009, Rath performed as ‘Tatianna Caine’ in two episodes of the series ‘Aaron Stone.’ She was seen as ‘Rigby Hastings’ in the Canadian TV series ‘The Assistants.’

In 2010, Rath made an appearance in two episodes of the Canadian sitcom ‘18 to Life.’ The series had Rath co-starring with her brother, Jesse Rath. The same year, she appeared in the movie ‘You Are So Undead,’ as ‘Mary Margaret.’

In 2013, Rath portrayed the role of ‘Sue’ in the movie ‘Three Night Stand.’ She was the executive producer of the movie. In 2015, she performed as ‘May’ in five episodes of the American series ‘New Girl.’ Her performance in the series won Rath won the ‘Golden Maple Award’ for the ‘Newcomer of the year in a TV series broadcast in the U.S.’

In 2015, Rath appeared in several TV series, such as ‘Banshee,’ ‘Secrets and Lies,’ and ‘Motive.’ She currently performs as ‘Tani Rey’ in the American action–drama series ‘Hawaii Five-O.’ It is telecast on ‘CBS.’
