Liberty Phoenix is an American former actress who had appeared in a few TV productions as a child. She is the sister of the famous artistes Summer Phoenix, River Phoenix, Joaquin Phoenix, and Rain Phoenix. Currently, she is associated as a member with a local band in Florida and is also involved in a pie-selling business. A multifaceted woman, she was once a teacher at the Florida School of Traditional Midwifery. Phoenix also runs a store called INDIGOGreen that deals with eco-friendly products for homes and offices. A mother of four, she is extremely benevolent and works for numerous charities including the River Phoenix Center for Peacebuilding. Although Phoenix isn’t a Hollywood superstar like her siblings, she is still a well-known and much loved member of the community. Besides being a business professional, she is also a wife and a homemaker who efficiently juggles her professional commitments with her family responsibilities. She is a very strong woman who has been through several ups and downs in her life and still manages to maintain an optimistic outlook.

In the 1980s, Liberty Phoenix featured in a few TV productions, including ‘Seven Brides for Seven Brothers’ and ‘Kate's Secret.’ She eventually stopped acting and founded a punk band named ‘The Causey Way’ alongside her sisters Summer and Rain Phoenix. Although this band no longer exists, Liberty Phoenix sometimes supports Rain's band the Papercranes.
She later worked as a teacher at the Florida School of Traditional Midwifery. In the year 2005, she designed a line of skirts and dresses for her shop "LP Originals." She also stocks her dresses in a boutique called “Some Odd Rubies” in Manhattan. She is the proprietor of INDIGOGreen as well. This premier building supply store provides eco-friendly products for offices and homes nationwide. Phoenix’s commitment to “mother nature” and the health of our planet is the driving force behind this venture.

Liberty Phoenix was born on July 5, 1976 in Caracas, Venezuela to John Lee Bottom and Arlyn Phoenix. She had four siblings: River (deceased), Rain, Joaquin, and Summer Phoenix. River, an actor cum musician, died in 1993. All of her surviving siblings also have careers in the show business. She is a sister-in-law of the Oscar-winning star Casey Affleck.
Talking about Liberty Phoenix’s love life, she was previously married to Ernesto Asch from 1996 to 2003. She later married a man named Andy Lord. At present, she has four surviving children: Emily Lord, Rio Julio Miguel Asch, Scarlette Jasmine and Leo Lord.
She also had another child named Indigo Orion Asch, who passed away in 2001 from pneumonia which he developed due to allergies related to new carpeting. It was his tragic death that led the grieving mother to start a green building supply business so that no other mother would have to go through what she did.
Liberty Phoenix is a vegan just like the rest of her family members. She also serves on the Board of United States Green Building Council (USGBC).
