Kieran Culkin is an American actor who first appeared on the big screen as a child artist alongside his brother Macaulay in the movie ‘Home Alone’. Since then, the actor has done several films including ‘Father of the Bride’, ‘Igby Goes Down’, ‘My Summer Story’, ‘The Mighty’, ‘The Cider House Rules’, ‘She's All That’, ‘Scott Pilgrim vs. the World’, ‘The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys’ and ‘Movie 43’, to name a few. Culkin has also worked on stage, most notably in many productions of Kenneth Lonergan’s ‘This Is Our Youth’. On television, he has portrayed the character of Andy "Fish" Troutner in NBC’s sitcom ‘Go Fish’ and of Rye Gerhardt in FX series ‘Fargo’. The actor has received a few awards for his work. In 2003, Culkin was awarded the Critics' Choice Award for ‘Best Young Actor/Actress’ for his role in ‘Igby Goes Down’. The same year, he was nominated for the Golden Globe award in the category ‘Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture: Musical or Comedy’.

Kieran Culkin made his acting debut as a child artist, portraying the character of Fuller McCallister in the 1990 movie ‘Home Alone’. The following year, he appeared in the flick ‘Father of the Bride’ and in an episode of ‘Saturday Night Live’. Then he reprised the role of Fuller McCallister in the sequel of Home Alone – ‘Home Alone 2’. A year later, he did the movie ‘Nowhere to Run’. After this, he did the films ‘My Summer Story’ and ‘Father of the Bride Part II’.
In 1996, Culkin lent his voice to the character of Jimmy for the TV series ‘Frasier’. Two years later, he was cast as Kevin Dillon in the flick ‘The Mighty’. Then he was offered the movies ‘She's All That’, ‘Music of the Heart’ and ‘The Cider House Rules’. During that time, he also worked in two episodes of ‘The Magical Legend of the Leprechauns’. Then in 2000, the actor acted on stage in the play ‘The Moment When’. The following year, he got featured in the television series ‘Go Fish’.
After this he did the film titled ‘Igby Goes Down’. Then Culkin appeared in the play ‘This Is Our Youth’ for the first time. In 2004, he did another play ‘After Ashley’. This was followed by the play ‘subUrbia’ in 2007. Then from 2008 to 2013, he did a handful of big screen projects like ‘Lymelife’, ‘Paper Man’, ‘Three Stories About Joan’, ‘Scott Pilgrim vs. the World’, ‘Margaret’ and ‘Movie 43’. He also appeared in many productions of ‘This Is Our Youth’ over the years. In 2015, Culkin appeared in the series ‘Fargo’ as well as in the movie ‘Quitters’. Two years later, he did a movie named ‘Infinity Baby’.

Kieran Culkin was born as Kieran Kyle Culkin on September 30, 1982 in New York City, New York, United States, to parents Patricia Brentrup and Kit Culkin. He has four brothers, Shane, Macaulay, Christian, and Rory, a sister Quinn and a half-sister, Jennifer Adamson. He also had another sister named Dakota who died in a car accident. Culkin completed his education from St. Joseph’s School and Professional Children's School. He also learnt ballet from School of American Ballet.
The actor has been married to Jazz Charton since 2013. Before marriage, Culkin was in a relationship with Hollywood star Emma Watson.
