Jillian commenced her career in the beauty industry in the early 1990s. She began by acquiring makeup skills and entrepreneurial knowledge. Her work made her visit fashion capitals such as Paris and London. In 1992, she got her first break as a makeup artist in the TV movie ‘Something to Live for: The Alison Gertz Story.’ Two years later, she stepped into mainstream Hollywood when she was appointed as the lead hair stylist and makeup artist for the thriller 'The Crew.' Following this, she styled Drew Barrymore, the protagonist of the 2000 romantic comedy 'Skipped Parts.' Jillian and Barrymore became good friends on the sets of the movie. Soon, she was hired to work on lip-glosses for the Barrymore-starrer action movie 'Charlie’s Angels.'

In 2006, Jillian was roped in by the cosmetic brand 'Avon' as their major global creative color director. The following year, she announced the launch of a new line of makeup products, in collaboration with 'Avon.' Jillian received a lot of praises for her work in the 2014 action movie 'Stunt Fighter,' which showcased her skills by introducing special makeup effects. Marriage

Jillian is married to Patrick Dempsey, famous for his appearance in the medical drama 'Grey's Anatomy.' The couple is blessed with three children.

Jillian met Patrick for the first time at her hair salon in Los Angeles, when her career was in its nascent stage. She was surprised to see Patrick’s name on her appointment list, but she thought it was a prank planned by her colleagues. However, Patrick actually had an appointment and even visited the salon on the registered date.

Jillian found Patrick cute but did not make a move, as he was already a big star at that time. However, Patrick revealed he was interested in her and would often flirt with her. After three years, they finally began dating each other.

On July 31, 1999, the couple got married in an intimate ceremony held at Patrick’s family farmhouse in Maine. Reports claimed that Patrick could not control his emotions and started crying when he saw Jillian walk down the aisle. The couple welcomed their first child, their daughter, Tallulah Fyfe Dempsey, on February 20, 2002. Their twin sons, Darby Galen and Sullivan, were born on February 1, 2007.
