She also runs an online vintage-inspired loungewear store which has garnered recent media attention.
Following her divorce from Kimmel, Gina Maddy Kimmel travelled for a bit and eventually made her way to Chicago. She served as a costume designer on the television films ‘Party Like the Rich and Famous’ and ‘Party Like the Queen of France’. She made cameo appearances in them as well. Both films premiered in 2012.
In early 2014, she set up the apparel company Maddy James to make and sell her vintage inspired loungewear line. She started a Kickstarter campaign in order to raise $15,000. After the money was raised, she initially sold the products on Etsy. The company has since grown enough to sell their merchandise through their own website.
