Frankie Jonas is a young American actor known for appearing in the popular Japanese animated film ‘Ponyo.’ He also gained fame for his recurring role in the television series ‘Jonas L.A.’ The youngest of the popular group, ‘The Jonas Brothers,’ Frankie is also sometimes referred to as "Bonus Jonas" and "Frank the Tank". He has three elder brothers, Kevin, Joe, and Nick. He is a multitalented personality blessed with an extraordinary voice. He displayed his vocal skills in ‘Ponyo’ and a few music videos. Jonas has also been a part of numerous films, including 'Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam', 'Spooky Buddies' and 'Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience'. Despite his young age, he has already performed many roles on the small as well as the big screen. Even though his association with The Jonas Brothers made his entry into the entertainment industry relatively easy, the young boy had to work hard to emerge as an upcoming actor in his own right, away from the shadows of his more popular brothers.

Frankie Jonas played a cameo role in 2008 when he appeared in the music video, ‘When You Look Me in the Eyes,’ alongside his elder brothers. That year, he also appeared in the reality TV series ‘Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream’. Soon after this, he got his breakthrough role as a voice artist in the Japanese animated flick, ‘Ponyo,’ where he played Sōsuke alongside Noah Cyrus. The two also sang the theme song of the film. Also in 2009, Frankie Jonas had a recurring role as Frankie Lucas on the Disney Channel Original Series ‘Jonas L.A.’
He played the supporting role of Junior Rocker Trevor in the movie ‘Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam’ in 2010. In 2011, the actor voiced the character of Pip in the direct to DVD comedy ‘Spooky Buddies’. He also appeared in two episodes of ‘R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour’ the same year. In 2012-13, he appeared in the reality TV show ‘Married to Jonas’ which primarily focused on the married life of his elder brother, Kevin. At around the same period, he appeared in the movies ‘The Reef 2: High Tide’ and ‘Gutsy Frog’. Jonas also did a cameo role in Jru Driscoll’s music video for the song "Sweet Baby". In 2017, he appeared in his brother Nick Jonas’ music video for "Remember I Told You”.

Frankie Jonas was born on September 28, 2000 in Ridgewood, New Jersey, USA, to Denise and Paul Kevin Jonas Sr. as their youngest son. He has three elder brothers, Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas. He is of Italian, German, English, Cherokee, Irish, French-Canadian, and Scottish descent. He is also nicknamed "Biff" besides "Bonus Jonas".
Unlike his older brothers, Frankie Jonas did not initially sign any deal with Columbia records. In 2008, The Jonas Brothers stated on their website that Frankie and a friend had their own band called ‘Drop/Slap’. Frankie won "Choice Breakout TV Star Male" award at the event of the 2009 Teen Choice Awards.
