Elizabeth Lyons Biography

Elizabeth Lyons’ professional career took off when she was studying at Vanderbilt University in Nashville. She released her debut EP album titled ‘Elizabeth Lyons’ in 2012 and it soon went on to become a big hit on iTunes. After graduating, she sold over 75,000 songs, independently. Her first single ‘Everything Tonight’ was ranked number 8 on Country Music Video on iTunes. Subsequently, she was listed in ‘Who New to Watch in 2014’ by Country Music Association. Later, she went to win the Music Row Discovery artist for her single ‘Everything Tonight’. Her following singles ‘#Party Rules’ and ‘Jeep!’ were released in 2014 and were immensely successful as well. ‘#Party Rules’ went to become #1 on the Country Music Video iTunes. She then toured for the PledgeMusic campaign titled ‘Lyons Pride’ in order to support her next album ‘I’ve Never’. This country album released in 2016 involved the best-known producers and writers in Nashville, including Brad Hill, Jason Massey and Georgia Thomas. The songs from this album had a personal touch to them as they mostly involved around Elizabeth’s early life. She promoted this album by touring college campuses and speaking to people directly.

In 2017, she released her next single titled ‘Champagne’, which was written by Lyons, Troy Castellano, and Brett Mandel. It was co-produced by Brad Hill and Robert Williams. The song was a reference to her bubbly personality and adventurous attitude. The music video for this was ranked #1 on the iTunes Country charts. In 2018, she would independently release the single ‘God Moment’ which immediately went on the top of various charts. The video for the song was directed by Sean Gale Burke; Elizabeth was involved in scripting the video, too.

She is among the most successful indie artists today as she has sold over 100,000 songs independently and had been ranked #1 twice on iTunes Country Music Videos. She was recently seen in Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising Star Top 3. She has also been spotted on various reputed lists, including iTunes Hot Tracks several times, Top 10 on Billboard, Top 50 on Mediabase, and Top 40 on Music Row Chart. Apart from this, she has been consistent in her tours and performances. She has participated in several music festivals at popular venues, including Summerfest, Country Stampede, Country Fest, and Mardi Gras. She has opened for various popular artists such as Lady Antebellum, Keith Urban, and Phil Vassar, among others. Currently, she dons multiple hats as she independently runs her music career and undertakes other business opportunities. She is very active on social media and has a huge fan following. Her future aspiration is to win a Grammy and continue touring around the world.

Elizabeth Lyons was born on 2 May 1992 in Illinois. She has two sisters, Gabrielle and Alex Lyons. Lyons was born and raised in a Chicago suburb and grew up with music. She started listening to Eric Clapton, Madonna, and The Rolling Stones as they were her parents’ favorites. Her great grandfather introduced her to country music. Her inspirations include Taylor Swift, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Spice Girls, Shania Twain, and Dixie Chicks. She is deeply spiritual and faith is a big part of her world. She even recorded these sentiments in her ‘God Moment’ song as she wanted to thank god for the things she has achieved. Her hobbies include golfing, traveling, kayaking, and She is in a relationship with William Boatner Reily and they are getting married in September 2018. She currently lives in Nashville, Tennessee.
