Aston Merrygold Biography

Aston Iain Merrygold is a British singer-songwriter, dancer, actor, and television personality. He is best recognized as a former member of the boy band JLS whose members were the runners-up of the 5th season of ‘The X Factor.’ Till date, as a lead artist he has released several singles including ‘Get Stupid’, ‘I Ain't Missing You’, ‘One Night in Paris’ and ‘Trudy’. Merrygold has also released an EP titled ‘Precious’. He had started working on his debut solo album titled ‘Showstopper’ which unfortunately remains unreleased as of now. He has made appearances on many TV shows and programs like ‘Got to Dance’, ‘Fun Song Factory’ and ‘Strictly Come Dancing’. Merrygold, along with the other three members of JLS, is also associated with many endorsements. The group is known to have launched an "Aston doll", a hoodie range and a condom range titled "Just Love Safe" with Durex. JLS is also associated with several charitable organizations like Cancer Research UK, Beat Bullying, Rays of Sunshine, the MS Society and Comic Relief, to name a few.
