Anna Maynard Biography

As a singer, Anna performed alongside her brother Conor the cover of the song ‘Run’. They also sang ‘If I Were a Girl’, a moderated version of Beyoncé’s ‘If I Were a Boy’.

On July 27, 2018, Anna set up her YouTube channel. She posted her first video on 5 August. Titled ‘My Brothers Don't Want Me On Youtube | ft. Jack & Conor Maynard’, it is essentially a comedy sketch. In the video, she speaks about the reasons she created the channel, stating that despite being a nervous person all her life, she wanted to show others that it is good to step out of one’s comfort zone. Some of the popular videos on her channels are ‘Get Ready with Me | 18th Birthday Party’, ‘The Most Important Day of My Life!!’, and ‘The Truth About My Brothers’.

Anna was born on June 4, 2000, in Brighton, England to Gary and Helen Maynard. Her father is a builder while her mother is an office worker. Conor, born on November 21, 1992, is about seven years older than her. Her other brother, Jack, was born on November 23, 1994.

She was about 11 or 12 years old when Conor began to garner popularity. As with many performers of today, his career began on social media. In May 2006, he created his YouTube channel and subsequently posted the cover of Lee Carr’s song ‘Breathe’. That year, he made his acting debut in Sky 1’s TV series ‘Dream Team’, portraying the role of Casper Rose. In 2009, he began singing covers of popular songs with Virginia-based rapper Anthony "Anth" Melo and posted them on YouTube. In 2012, he put out his debut single ‘Can’t Say No’. Later that year, on 30 July, he released his debut studio album, ‘Contrast’, which topped the UK chart and was certified Silver by BPI. However, he has not been able to replicate his success with his following projects. On August 5, 2016, he put out his second album, ‘Covers’, which garnered a disappointing response. These days, the majority of his earnings comes through online streams such as YouTube and Spotify and not via live performances and album sales. In January 2018, he told Caspar Lee that he was working on his new album.

Jack, on the other hand, is a popular vlogger, comedian, and singer. On his channel, he has accumulated over a million subscribers to date.
