Brenda Lee is a singer best-known for performing country music and pop. One of the earliest pop singers to enjoy a contemporary international following, Lee was among the most-charted singers during the 1960s. A Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award winner, Lee is the only female performer to be inducted into both the Country Music and Rock and Roll Halls of Fame.

Retired gymnast Mary Lou Retton, known for her trademark, The Retton Flip, made history by becoming the first American female gymnast to win an individual Olympic gold medal and was the first gymnast named to the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame. She later became a motivational speaker.

Lupe Fuentes had started out as a porn actor, with her own website, at 19. The Colombian artist later stepped into music, joining the group The Ex-Girlfriends. Now a social-media influencer and a house music DJ/producer, Lupe lives in Los Angeles and is married to actor/singer Evan Seinfeld.

Hideki Tojo headed the Imperial Japanese Army and was the Japanese minister of war, apart from being Japan’s prime minister from 1941 to 1944. His tenure witnessed the attack on Pearl Harbor. After Japan surrendered to the Allied Powers, Tojo was convicted of war crimes and sentenced to death.

Dreaming to participate in the Olympics since age 11, Morgan Hurd, unfortunately, failed to qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. A 2-time World champion, she was adopted from China at 11 months and began training in gymnastics at age 3. She is known for her signature spectacles, which she wears while competing.

Daniela Silivaș is a Romanian former artistic gymnast. She is best known for winning six medals (three gold, two silver, and one bronze) at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul. She also earned six individual World Championships titles in her five-year tenure as a Romanian senior national team member. She became a coach after retiring in 1991. 

Ecaterina Szabo is a Romanian former artistic gymnast who won four gold medals and a silver medal at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. She also represented her country at the World Championships and European Championships, winning 10 medals and five medals respectively. In 2000, Ecaterina Szabo was made an inductee of the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame.

Deng Linlin is a Chinese former gymnast best known for winning gold medals at the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games. The 2009 world champion in Balance Beam, Deng Linlin also won the 2009 National Games All-Around event as well as the 2010 Asian Games Team event.

Mohini Bhardwaj is a retired artistic gymnast who represented the American team at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens where she helped her team win a silver medal. Bhardwaj became the first Indian-American gymnast to win an Olympic medal when she won the silver medal. In 2015, she was made an inducted into the USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame.

Apart from winning a team silver at the 2004 Athens Olympics, Courtney McCool also has a Pan American Games gold in her kitty. The former gymnast has also represented the University of Georgia and has choregraphed the Utah Red Rocks and the Arkansas Razorbacks. She now coaches the LSU gymnastics team.
