Renowned for making dramatic comedies, Noah Baumbach marked his directing and writing debut withthe comedy-drama film, ‘Kicking and Screaming.’ He bagged in an ‘Academy Award’ nomination in the ‘Best Original Screenplay’ category for the independent arthouse comedy-drama film, ‘The Squid and the Whale.’
He is also credited with writing and directing comedies like ‘The Meyerowitz Stories,’ ‘While We’re Young,’ ‘Frances Ha,’ that made its way to the ‘Toronto International Film Festival’; and ‘Mistress America.’
Some of his other popular and noteworthy works include ‘Greenberg,’ ‘Margot at the Wedding,’ ‘The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou,’ ‘Mr. Jealousy,’ ‘Fanatstic Mr. Fox,’ ‘Highball,’ ‘She’s Funny That Way,’ and ‘De Palma,’ a documentary that premiered at the ‘Venice Film Festival.’
