Jesse Eisenberg Filmography
Jesse Eisenberg is an American actor, author and playwright best known for portraying Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in the 2010 biographical drama 'The Social Network'. It is considered one of his best roles and earned him 'Best Actor' nominations at 'BAFTA', 'Golden Globe', and 'Academy Award'.
Making his television debut on the series 'Get Real' (1999-2000), he bagged a starring role in the 2002 film 'Roger Dodger' and also appeared in the drama film 'The Emperor's Club' (2002). In the following years, he appeared in the successful films 'The Village' and 'The Squid and the Whale'. However, his next films – 'Cursed' (2005), 'The Education of Charlie Banks' (2007) and 'The Hunting Party' (2007) – were all box-office failures. He achieved success with later films such as 'Adventureland' (2009), 'Zombieland' (2009), 'Holy Rollers' (2010), and '30 Minutes or Less' (2011).
Except for 'Why Stop Now' (2012), one of his worst performing films, his recent filmography includes top grossing blockbusters such as 'Rio' (201) and 'Rio 2' (2014) (voice roles), 'Now You See Me' (2013) and its sequel, and 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' (2016), as well as critically acclaimed films like 'Night Moves', 'The Double' and 'The End of the Tour'.
