In 1963, CIA agent Napoleon Solo successfully rescues Gaby Teller from East Berlin despite being pursued by KGB operative Illya Kuryakin. Soon Solo and Kuryakin, reluctantly, have to come together to prevent a criminal organisation from building nuclear weapon. Their only lead is Gaby, whose father is the scientist building the weapon.

After the death of Superman, Darkseid sends his servant Steppenwolf to Earth, in order to subjugate the human race. In order to protect humanity, Bruce Wayne aligns forces with Diana Prince, and tries to bring the super powered humans of Earth together, and fight against the catastrophic threat.

Billionaire Bruce Wayne is manipulated to believe that Superman is too dangerous, and might turn out to be a threat to humanity. He adopts his mantle of Batman, and manages to subdue Superman. However, Bruce realizes how he has been manipulated by Lex Luthor.  

Whatever Works tells the story of a middle-aged, misanthropic divorcee from New York, who survives a suicide attempt. Some time later, he surprisingly enters into a strange relationship with a much younger, unsophisticated girl.
