Despite having a low IQ, Forrest Gump has been raised like any other children by his supportive mother. Adapted from William Goldman’s 1973 novel of the same name, the film The Princess Bride tells the story of a farmhand named Westley, who is on a mission to rescue his true love Princess Buttercup from the odious Prince Humperdinck.

The movie shows how manager Billy Beane and Yale economics graduate Peter Brand, revolutionized conventional baseball wisdom by using sabermetric to create a winning team despite having a limited budget. 

Based on the eponymous novel by Stieg Larsson, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is a thriller that centers around a journalist, played by Daniel Craig, trying to solve the mysterious disappearance of a rich woman 40 years ago. He is aided by a tattooed hacker, portrayed by Rooney Mara, who helps him uncover the dark secrets of Sweden’s high society.

An American pilot, Steve Trevor, crash lands at the hidden island of Themyscira inhabited by the Amazons or the women warriors and informs them of a disastrous war being waged in the outside world. Princess, Diana believes that Ares, the God of war and an Amazonian foe, is the root of the problem and embarks on a journey to restore peace.

His investigation points him towards a previous blade runner, Rick Deckard, the protagonist of the first story, who is missing for the last three decades.

Nine Lives is a drama film which revolves around nine different women, as they struggle and try to deal with various problems in their lives, such as parent-child relationships, illness, death, etc.  

Bobby and Jonathan are good friends, but their lives get quite complicated when Jonathan’s wife seduces Bobby and gets pregnant with his baby. Things even get worse after Jonathan discovers that he has AIDS.

Based on a novel of the same name, The Private Lives of Pippa Lee is a romantic comedy film which chronicles the life of Pippa Lee, who is the youngest child and the only girl in her large Christian family. The film shows how she deals with several of her hardships in life.

Freddy Gale is a jeweler whose young daughter is killed by a drunk driver. When the driver is released from prison, Freddy swears to kill him and informs him that he has only three days to live.  

New York, I Love You is a romantic comedy-drama film, which revolves around the love life of several residents living in New York, the most loved and the most hated city in the World. 

Hounddog is a musical drama film which tells the story of a young girl named Lewellen, who lives with her stern and religious grandmother, as her parents are unable to take care of her. Although her father cares for her, he is unable to provide her a stable home, but he gives her gifts occasionally such as Elvis Presley's recordings. She begins listening to Presley’s music and eventually begins to find comfort in it from her troubled life.

When her neighbour Kiefer tries to rape her and assault her, Maureen’s husband Eddie goes berserk. He is eventually put in a psychiatric facility. Years later, he is released and he tries to redeem himself in the eyes of his now-ex wife. However, she is already married to another man.  

Rampart is a crime drama film which revolves around the life of Dave Brown, a police officer who had also previously served in the Vietnam War. One day, he finds himself in serious trouble and struggles for his survival.

The Singing Detective is a crime comedy mystery film which tells the story of a crime novelist who is lying in a hospital bed, due to his skin condition. However, he soon starts hallucinating that he is part of a murder plot.
