Born into a family of accordion players, Benny Andersson grew up to become a member of the iconic Swedish band ABBA, known for legendary chartbusting tracks such as Dancing Queen and Mamma Mia. Even after ABBA disbanded, he continued working on projects such as the musical Chess.

Singer and songwriter Björn Ulvaeus is perhaps best known as a member of the ABBA, one of the most successful musical groups of all time. RedOne is a Moroccan-Swedish record producer, singer, songwriter, and record executive. He is credited with founding his own record label, RedOne Records. Over the years, he has collaborated with popular personalities like Lady Gaga, Akon, Nicki Minaj, Michael Jackson, and Jennifer Lopez among many other high-profile artists. He has several prestigious awards under his belt, including three Grammy Awards.

Swedish operatic tenor Jussi Björling was closely associated with New York’s Metropolitan Opera throughout his career. He was particularly known for his expertise in Italian and French repertory. After starting to sing at age 6, he made his opera debut with Mozart’s Don Giovanni in Stockholm.

Eagle-Eye Cherry is a Swedish stage performer and singer. He achieved international fame when his 1997 single Save Tonight became famous in the United Kingdom, the United States, Ireland, and New Zealand. Apart from creating his own music, Eagle-Eye Cherry also contributes to the success of other artistes by co-writing songs for their albums. 

Swedish singer Maher Zain had moved to Sweden from Lebanon with his family at 8. A qualified aeronautical engineer, he is now known for his fusion of Eastern and Western music and for the religious overtones in his songs. He has also worked with UNHCR to support Syrian refugees.

Per Gessle is a Swedish singer, musician, and songwriter. He is best known as one half of the famous pop rock duo Roxette, which he founded alongside Marie Fredriksson in 1986. Roxette achieved international success before its disbandment in 2019 following Fredriksson's death.

Swedish singer-songwriter Benjamin Ingrosso released his first single at age 9. Known for mingling dance and soul with his pop tracks, he has hits such as I Wouldn’t Know and Tror Du Att Han Bryr Sig in his kitty.  He is also known for his performances on shows such as Melodifestivalen.

John Lundvik is a Swedish singer-songwriter and former sprinter. He achieved national recognition after composing songs for the wedding of Daniel Westling and Victoria, Crown Princess of Sweden in 2010. John Lundvik has also composed songs for films. In 2019, he competed in Eurovision Song Contest where he represented Sweden with the song Too Late for Love. 

Ilya Salmanzadeh is a Swedish-Persian singer, songwriter, and producer. He achieved international recognition after co-writing and producing Jennifer Lopez's First Love and Ariana Grande's Problem in 2014. He has also collaborated with other prominent artistes like Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar. Ilya Salmanzadeh has won many prestigious awards like Teen Choice Award, MTV Europe Music Awards, and MTV Video Music Award.

Swedish pop singer Peter Holm is known as the former husband of actor Joan Collins of Dynasty fame. Popular for tracks such as Monja and Syster Jane, he later co-produced the series Sins and Monte Carlo. He also made headlines for his mercurial temper, his promiscuity, and his divorce from Collins.

Felix Sandman is a Swedish singer, actor, and songwriter. He is best known for his association with the popular boy band FO&O. Sandman's popularity increased in 2019 when he became part of the main cast of Quicksand, the first Swedish Netflix series.

John Norum is a Norwegian-Swedish rock guitarist best known as the co-founder of the popular Swedish rock band Europe. Apart from contributing to the success of Europe, John Norum has also had a successful solo career. Some of his solo albums like Total Control and Play Yard Blues have achieved success and fame. 

Erik Gronwall is a Swedish heavy metal and hard rock singer. He achieved popularity in 2009 when he won a reality-competition talent show called Idol. His popularity increased when he released his eponymous debut album which debuted at number one on Sverigetopplistan and was certified platinum. Erik Gronwall is the current lead vocalist of the American rock band Skid Row.

Eric Saade is a Swedish singer-songwriter best known for winning the Swedish song contest Melodifestivalen 2011 with his song Popular. He then went on to compete at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011 with the same song, placing third. Over the years, Eric Saade has also received several prestigious awards such as Scandipop Awards and Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award.

Sandro Cavazza is a Swedish songwriter of Italian origin. A former singer, Cavazza was part of the popular pop group Estraden. Sandro Cavazza is also known for his friendship with Avicii; the two collaborated often before Avicii's untimely death in 2018.

Talented Swedish musician Salem Al Fakir, along with Vincent Pontare, forms the song writing and production duo Vargas and Lagola that collaborates with various artists apart from releasing alternative pop music together. As a solo artist, he has released albums, such as This Is Who I Am, and Ignore This and has won several Swedish Grammy Awards and Swedish MPA Awards.

Swedish singer Frans Jeppsson Wall, also known as Frans, soared to fame after winning Melodifestivalen 2016. He also participated in Eurovision Song Contest 2016 and is best known for his football-themed songs such as Who's da Man and Fotbollsfest, the latter launched as a theme for the Swedish football team.

Swedish singer-songwriter Dhani Lennevald is best known as a member of the pop group A*Teens, previously known as ABBA-Teens. After the band disbanded, the pop/RnB singer launched his solo career with the hit Girl Talk. He has also worked as a model for a while.

Yohio is a Swedish singer-songwriter best known for his dinstinctive androgynous appearance; he often performs wearing a lolita dress on stage. Inspired by Japanese culture at a young age, Yohio sings in Japanese and Swedish languages. He is also credited with co-founding Keios Entertainment where he is currently serving as the CEO.  

Isak Danielson is a Swedish singer-songwriter best known for his 2018 song Always which is part of his debut studio album Yours. The album peaked at number 27 on Sverigetopplistan. Apart from recording songs, Isak Danielson has also appeared on popular TV shows like X Factor.

Bjorn Skifs is a Swedish singer, actor, songwriter, and screenwriter. He is credited with forming popular musical groups, namely Slam Creepers and Blåblus. He is also known for his association with Blue Swede where he was the lead singer. Bjorn Skifs has also represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest on two occasions.

An acclaimed singer and musician, Tommy Korberg has never taken a single music lesson in his entire life. Product of an unhappy childhood, he dropped out of school at sixteen to start a rock band, eventually gaining national and international recognition for his talent, winning numerous hearts for his roles in scores of Swedish and English musicals, especially Chess.

Swedish singer Pelle Almqvist is best known as the lead vocalist of the band The Hives. Interestingly, he has previously worked as a postman and a teacher, too. He has also collaborated with artists such as Moneybrother and been part of the game show Alla mot alla med Filip och Fredrik.

Ted Gärdestad was a Swedish singer, musician, songwriter, and actor. He achieved popularity during the '70s and '80s before he moved to the USA to dedicate his time to Osho's Bhagwan movement. Having suffered from anxiety for most part of his life, Ted committed suicide in 1997. His life and career inspired the 2018 biographical film Ted: För kärlekens skull.

Jon Henrik Fjallgren is a Swedish-Sámi singer who started hogging the limelight after winning the sixth season of Talang Sverige, Swedish version of Got Talent series. He is also well-known for his participation in Melodifestivalen, where he placed second, third, and fourth in 2015, 2017, and 2019 respectively.

Amit Sebastian Paul is a Swedish businessman and former singer. He achieved popularity when he became part of the popular Swedish pop band A-Teens. After selling over five million units over a period of six years, the band dissolved and Amit pursued a solo recording career. He then quit his recording career to focus on his family business, Paxymer AB.
